Lunch with my sister who's beens lots of times my first visit and certainly won't be my last £5.50 for a chicken cajun sandwich fresh bread warm chicken and salad my sister got her regular fish cakes.

This has become myself and my sisters favourite little place . The food Is out of this world . Nothing is any bother .feel very welcome an come here weekly . Will be taking our mum for mothers day .

Yet another excursion to my favorite music cafe. Always a warm welcome from owners Fran and Frank. Had a tasty curry off the specials board. Tonight the talented John and Peter Cox, aka Urban Rain, were performing two sets of a John's original songs.

I went to solos today with my friend and half way through my meal I was asked to leave because the table we was seated at was booked, there was no signs to say it had been reserved and there was four identical available tables that the people who booked, could have been seated at. But, the waitress was adamant that they needed our table despite the fact I was still eating. Very strange!! Food was lovely an reasonably priced just a shame I wasn’t given time to finish it.

Solos cafe was amazing. The food was delicious. We were a big group, chairs and tables were moved to accommodate us. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you for helping us enjoy time with our family. Xx

Always good food, good independent cafe

My favourite local cafe, you feel relaxed and valued as a customer whether on your own for a quiet breakfast/brunch or with friends for a "get together" for lunch, Afternoon Tea or special themed evenings. The musical performances make a pleasant background. The food is delicious (some unusual options are available, always well prepared by Fran, a very knowledgeable traveller) These are authentic tasting as well as offering an insight into other cultures.People travel a long way to enjoy this food but tellingly there is a huge fan base of regulars. Well deserving of five stars.
