Nice little or as in the tile "Small" chip shop but what it lacks in size it makes up for in taste. The chips were yummy and just how I like them, the jumbo sausage was very tasty and the mushy peas were also very nice. I've marked them down one star because as with the name Small Fry so are their portions. I've never had so few chips anywhere I've eaten and I've eaten at lots of places. Would've marked them down lower but couldn't as they were very friendly and nice women running the place they just need to put more chips in the bag.

Run by two friendly sisters this small restaurant provided superb cod & chips etc. Until today Scarborough had not been anywhere near being my number one place for good fish & chips. This visit changed everything, why drive to Whitby when this is available. Thankfully it cannot be described a corporate in any way.

Delicious.

Fish had light batter. Haddock was thick & moist and cooked to perfection. The mushy peas were homemade. Service was friendly & accommodating.

The best chipshop in Scarborough! Excellent service, best gravy and peas! Plus its the little extra things like a extra jug of water with your tea, half portions to save money! Plus 2 fish and chips, peas, gravy and a pot of tea for under £20!!

Found this little gem today and the cod and chips were beautiful.Tasty fish and the best ever batter. The lady that served us was absolutely brilliant.Looked after us really well. Will be back when next in Scarborough. Thanks

Go to different fish and chip shops daily on my travels, so far this is the best out there.

Unreal service. Good price. Light battered cod or haddock. Not greasy.

Just bliss

Been here few times now and it is amazing everytime. The food is perfect and great value for your money, good portions and quality. The staff are so friendly and polite too. I would recommend this place to anyone and is now my go to chip shop

Excellent food and service. I recommend Small Fry to anyone in the vicinity. Thank you. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. And we were served as Queens. The warmth, aquarium and music just added to the pleasure.
