My wife was looking for a barber shop so she could try a new low-cut style, I found Set-N-Trends Barber Shop. This shop provided a great experience, a clean shop, and most of all, courteous & professional barbers. If you're looking for a first time barber or maybe just thinking about changing barbers, I would recommend giving Set-N-Trends Barber Shop a try.
I brought my son in for his very first hair cut and he sat with Ramin. He was so patient with him and talked him through the entire cut. The other guys in the shop encouraged my son to always be smart and clean. All the barbers and even the other customers were so respectful and friendly. It is apparent that this shop is a constant positive environment and you have a forever customer in me! Thank you Set N Trends Barbershop ????
When I tell you that I am pleased with the service my son received on yesterday, I mean ever word of it. My son is very picky and likes for everything to be right on point, so I figured finding a barber that would cut to his satisfaction was going to be hard. He did a little searching and came across these guys.When I called to get the location and the pricing, I got a good feeling about taking my son to this shop just from the customer service I received on the phone. I dropped my son off immediately after the call and went to run a quick errand. By the time I returned to the barbershop, my son had his haircut and was back at the car within a few minutes of my return. Must I say that I immediately noticed how neat his cut was as soon as he got in the car. On top of that, he had not one bad thing to say about the service he received. I am very pleased with how well my son was treated, as well as the short amount of time it took for him to get his haircut. So pleased that I called when I got home to thank the them personally and to let them know that they have a new customer. These guys do excellent work in my opinion and the environment is very welcoming.
Been coming for almost 20 years with my 2 boys ! The entire shop feels like family. All barbers treat you like family. They take their time with children and even come to any extra curriculars/events they have. This barbershop is top notch A1 !!! When you get a chance, stop by and experience this awesome barbershop ????
Always friendly and professional, Ramin exudes exceptional customer service and is always accommodating and communicative. This shop has been serving Jacksonville for over 20 years and is a proud milestone in the community. ????
Ramin is a very thorough Barber. His cuts and shape up are done with exquisite perfection. He is very neat and. he listens to what the customer wants and does it beautifully. He shaves the face with such preciseness. When you leave his chair, you feel like you've been pampered, a little. He is the best in Jax. I will go nowhere else. Thank you Ramin.
The price for my haircut was $12. I think it was the best haircut I've ever gotten. The guy was very careful and methodical and kept giving me the mirror and checking with me to make sure that he had cut it exactly as I wanted.
Plus it was a very friendly, low-key and unpretentious place, where people dropped by to talk and the guys cutting hair knew everyone who came in, with the conversation ranging from sports to gossip to people in the neighborhood. The guys who cut the hair were very entertaining. It reminded me of the Ice Cube movie Barbershop. I didn't know places like that still existed.
I had a nice time, was treated kindly, and got a great haircut at a good price. And if you want to make a day of it, there's Korean barbecue next door.
Had a bad experience here once a few weeks back.
I came in and they were talking about sports or something and there was only one person getting their hair cut with like 3 other free barbers free. So I sat down waiting for them to notice I walked in and the minutes went by I counted 5 min with no avail so I walked out... don’t know why sports are more important than the job they got up in the morning to go do but the customer comes first and i will not be returning I’m sorry don’t try to contact me and make it up. The owner needs to rectify this issue and let the employees know that this was unacceptable. Goodbye
