These guys were great! The place was clean, they were very nice and professional, and the young man who worked on my nails paid great attention to detail, making sure I was happy with his work before I left. I had previously gone to a place in New Mexico for my first set of acrylic nails (I've never done this before) and the first time was awful. The people at serenity nails not only fixed my nails, but we're gentle (the first time hurt like crazy) and they made me feel welcome (the first time I went in NM that lady couldn't get me out of her hair fast enough!)
Thank you so much for showing me that getting nice nails is fun!! Anytime I come to Illinois I'll definitely be paying serenity nails a visit!
Loved it. I’m a momma of a little one so I love to wear my nails short. In my experience, nail techs struggle perfecting the shape of shorter nails. But they nailed it! Between the luxurious pedicure (including warm wax and hot stones) I felt truly pampered! Plus my nails are the perfect length! I will certainly be back. And would highly recommend.
First time and it will not be the last. I was hoping to find a place closer to home. It was great to be greeted, seated quickly, and attended to by friendly staff who speak to each other as well a customers. The chairs are phenomenal and the massage chairs for waiting are top notch.
If I had known they do repairs on gel nails and half off during the week 1) would have done gel on my hands and 2) I would have gone during the week. Now that I know they do facials that will be on my list for Serenity services.

I enjoyed this place. It's my second time here, Alex and Jimmy completely took care of me. The color on my pedicure color was not as vibrant as I wanted so they redid it to make it pop and match the fingers. The whole time we chatted, laughed, and I was relaxed. I highly recommend Serenity because it has great people, atmosphere, and service. The picture doesn't do the color justice, it's like a dayglo yellowish green.
local business with a great and communicative team!! went with my boyfriend and Alex and Gabby were so sweet when we got our pedicures. Alex did my nails and used dip powder to help even them out. Tu did my nail art and it looks great! they have one signature pedicure service that they do which includes a mask, exfoliation, hot stones, and paraffin wax. its so luxurious for a great price. affordable and amazing service.
I started going there in early 2022 when I moved to the area from Denver. It was welcoming and nice, the service was meeting my expectations. The nail techs were very friendly. However, when I brought my 3 close family members to get mani/pedis it was very disappointing. I had noticed the discrepancies in price when I brought my two niece's before but wrote it off as thier age or what they asked for. When I brought the three family members and discussed what we all got the difference in price was surprising!! One of four got a hand massage, one only got polish on her nails, no cuticle work, etc. I was so embarrassed to bring my family here. The management recently changed and I will tell you even before the change the COVID screens and front door have NEVER been wiped down. It's disgusting.
I went to Serenity Nails today to get my nails done for Christmas… WOW is an understatement! Alex D did AMAZING. He was so attentive to detail and checked in every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the design. I’m so happy with my
nails today! I’ve been here a few times before and I will definitely be back!
Don’t go! I’d give less than 1 star if I could. The Edwardsville location made my appt for 2:00 and I was still waiting at 2:45. While I was waiting 2 women came in at 2:30 and 1 had a reservation and she was told it would be at least another 30 minutes. The lady was huffy and said ‘I don’t have another 30 min!’ A nail technician stopped doing another guests nails and a technician walked out of the back and immediately began doing these ladies nails that had just washed in! So rude and unprofessional! They began my nails at 2:50 a young mother with 2 little girls walked in when my nails were being done.., had an appt. Yep! Sent them away and said come back in 30 min and they waited another 20 on top of that.
Then I was charged $70 for a full set with only top coat- no color, no design. They said it was an extra $18 for shaping!
Very clean salon and professional staff. You can tell they take their time and want your nails to look amazing. Never felt rushed and the techs were gentle with the tools. They offer a 10% student discount that you can use every time you go in. I’ll be going here from now on. Appointments recommended.
