Super schoen mit Blick auf Seven Sisters. Gerne immer wieder
Langer grober stein Strand
Beautiful places, long beaches , soft pebbles, tap water and public toilets available all around. Go for a nice trek walk to see and walk on the Seven Sister Cliffs
Brilliant place with amazing view, lovely to spend time with family and friends. Dog friendly. Water re-fill station. Bowls for dogs to drink water. Disabled access. Free car park.
Visited last year in the summer. Had a lovely time, the beach was beautiful and although it was a hot day it wasn’t overly crowded unlike beaches such as brighton would be. The seven sister cliffs are a very short walk and drive from the beach, you can either take a path going up or drive to the car park at the top and follow the trail, giving you magnificent views of a combination of countryside and coast. Loved it here will hope to come back. There’s a free seafront car park about a minute walk from the beach, and it’s just those little things which makes the experience more enjoyable.
Best beach getaway in this summer
Around 1.5 hours ride from London .
Theres is a cliff near which have a beautiful view pf seven sisters cliff as well .
It's a beautiful beach. Stony though so wouldn't recommend going in just like that because it literally hurts when you walk back or even stand in water after a while. Keep your stuff close and your footwear closer. There are a few colorful huts nearby. Some of them are also shops and some are probably up for rent. I guess u have a washroom also around but I personally did not use it so I don't know if it still works or it's just some signs.
Good for sunbathing and hanging out in general. Beautiful views and breathtaking scenery. It's also the start of the hike from seaford to seven sisters.
You do have some hotels near by and a few places off road from beach with market and cafes and restaurants and eateries and pharmacy and etc etc shops.
People do swim a bit there but dint see a lot of people in the water.
Just 2-4min walk from train station. So one doesn't need to walk a lot to get a good view of the sea. Water is clean and beautiful. Please do carry your sunscreen and bathing suit. If you're going for the hike, I would suggest to start sooner when you have time so we get to rest on your way up the hike at intervals and click some amazing pictures while you are at it.
Have a good day and enjoy your trip to the beach.
Hiked from Lewes to Seaford. The most scenic hike in South Downs and the one i enjoyed the most. Went to the seaside to have some food and watch the stars. Absolutely magical

Quick Facts About Seaford Beach

Seaford Beach is a popular destination for many people due to its beautiful views and various amenities. However, there are also some drawbacks that should be considered when visiting the beach.
One of the strengths of Seaford Beach is its stunning view of the Seven Sisters cliffs. This natural wonder offers visitors a unique and picturesque backdrop for their beach experience. Additionally, the beach itself is described as "beautiful" and "lovely," with long beaches and soft pebbles. The availability of tap water and public toilets is also mentioned as a positive aspect, making it convenient for visitors to stay hydrated and use the facilities as needed.
Another strength of Seaford Beach is its family and dog-friendly atmosphere. Many visitors mention that it is a great place to spend time with loved ones, including children and pets. The beach offers bowls for dogs to drink water and provides disabled access, making it more inclusive for individuals with mobility limitations. The free car park located near the beach is also mentioned as a positive feature, as it adds to the convenience and accessibility of the area.
Seaford Beach is also praised for its lack of overcrowding. Compared to popular beaches like Brighton, Seaford Beach provides a more serene and peaceful environment for visitors. The beach is described as not being overly crowded, allowing visitors to enjoy their time without feeling overwhelmed by the number of people present.
Despite these strengths, there are some weaknesses that should be taken into consideration when visiting Seaford Beach. One common complaint is the roughness of the stones on the beach. While the beach is described as beautiful, the presence of these rough stones can make it uncomfortable to walk on or stand in the water for extended periods of time. Visitors are advised to keep their belongings close and be mindful of their footwear to avoid discomfort.
Another potential weakness is the limited amenities available near the beach. While there are colorful huts nearby, some of which may serve as shops or be available for rent, it is unclear if these amenities are consistently available. Additionally, there is mention of a washroom, but it is unclear if it is operational or simply signage. Visitors should be prepared to bring their own supplies and be self-sufficient during their time at Seaford Beach.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of people in the water. While some visitors do swim at Seaford Beach, it is not described as a popular swimming location. This may be a disappointment for those seeking a beach where swimming is a primary activity.
Additionally, while there are hotels and some shops and restaurants near the beach, it is unclear if they are of high quality or offer a wide range of options. Visitors should be prepared to potentially have limited choices when it comes to dining or shopping in the vicinity of Seaford Beach.
In conclusion, Seaford Beach offers stunning views, a family and dog-friendly environment, and convenient amenities such as tap water and public toilets. It is also praised for its lack of overcrowding compared to other popular beaches. However, the roughness of the stones on the beach, limited amenities, lack of people in the water, and potential limitations in nearby dining and shopping options are some weaknesses to consider when planning a visit to Seaford Beach.
