Popped in here on an impulse after grabbing some stuff from the shop next door. I hadn’t been to a chip shop in years but I smelled the food cooking and couldn’t resist.

I only ordered a medium chips (£2.60 at time of writing) and got a pretty good sized portion of piping hot, proper chippy chips.

The portion was large enough to provide a light meal for two adults and a 6 year old.

The chips were fresh and very, very tasty. I don’t know what potato variety they use but it has a rich, almost buttery taste.

The chips were not swimming in oil unlike many places but they also weren’t dried out. They were fluffy, creamy and just a little crisp. Best chip shop chips I have ever had.

The staff were really lovely. Friendly, cheerful, helpful and with a pleasant, bright smile. They were very concerned whether my chips would make it home ok in the drizzle and quickly offered me a bag.

The shop itself is clean and bright. The menu is extensive without being absurd, offering all that is the very best of the traditional British chippy.

Very impressed and will be returning very, very soon for something a bit more substantial.

Amazing fresh food, polite staff and delivery drivers. Best chip shop in the Cannock area by far. Fresh scampi too not reformed. I highly recommend, well done.

Used this chippy for around 3 years used to be the best around. Last 2 times it's been ick and today's chicken meat and chips went in the bin. Not sure if they have changed the meat but the kids hated it too just yuk . Such a shame

The peas are great and not that uber bright green radioactive colour.

The prices are very competitive, it is easy to park and I will not go anywhere else. Superb.
