Absolute gem. I like eating out in Urmston for breakfast and there's a few good spots but this is my personal fave. Really like sitting out the back in the comfy huts. Coffee is decent, breakfast is a tasty rib sticker and the people working there are prompt and friendly. Nothing not to like in my opinion.
Food and service is always above and beyond in Scrumptious.. Usually go for breakfast, which is always delicious, but went for Afternoon Tea today.
The food was delicious, fresh and nothing was too much trouble.
They also cater for allergies and dietary requests with no issues... Great place for people who are Coeliac..
Nice vintage tea sets which I really want to bring them all home. We wanted to order a hightea set but the store owner said reservation is needed????Will come again for the tea set. However, the vegan breakfast surpirsed me with juicy mushroom and addictive halloumi????
A lovely little place. It's a small room, and when we visited we were immediately asked if we'd booked (we hadn't) but thankfully a table was available.
The menu has a decent selection of breakfast and brunch dishes, as well as salads and afternoon tea. Sadly my favourite breakfast dish - porridge - wasn't on the menu but we both found something that appealed, and the food was lovely. At the rear of the building there are a number of cabins with tables and seats available for groups, and these appeared to be popular.
Friendly staff, nice food, and delicious looking cakes on the counter. We'll be back.
Delicious! Had a breakfast and cup of coffee. The coffee was lovely and hot (unlike many chains) and the breakfast very tasty and cooked to order so lovely and hot too. Highly recommended
I had afternoon tea here with my niece for a treat. The scones and cakes were very good, the menu was good value for money and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was disappointing that the vegetarian afternoon tea menu (which we pre-booked and confirmed on arrival) included tuna fish sandwiches, though. The server seemed willing enough to rectify this, but the traces of tuna fish left on the serving plate that she returned to us (traces that I only noticed after we finished eating, and being very hungry we did clear our plates!) suggest a certain lack of care and attention. Overall, I’d pop in again for a slice of cake if I were passing, but I would not make a special trip back.
Decided to eat here after being recommended by a family member. We sat outside in one of the 3 spacious pods in their gorgeous looking back garden. My Wife had the Salmon, Avocado & Halloumi, and I had the Scrumptious deluxe breakfast, and both were superb, and extremely good value for money. We shall most certainly be visiting again, and recommending eating here to everyone!
Absolutely delicious every single time . Staff and owner so helpful and lovely .
It's a regular trip for our breakfast!
