Really friendly staff. Fish batter was soooooo tastywith beautiful fresh white fish flakes

Hardly any waiting time even on busy a Friday evening but if you want a large fish remember to tell them as you go in as it's cooked to order. A little jewel of a shop.

First visit for a year, used to be good value. Usual order is small cod and chips and was a good size portion in past visits, however this time it was one of the worst portion of fish and chips I have had. Fish was overcooked and was mostly batter and the chips went onto my plate in a congealed lump. This was at 6pm on a Saturday and we were the only customers at the time. Staff on duty was sullen; no sunny welcome. Safe to say, this has put me off buying from here again.

Small Fish and Chips portion is well worth it.

Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the mushy peas were a bit watery. Sorry guys less water more mushy peas please ????

Called on Thursday about four thirty unlike a lot of chippies they didn't have a lot of fish or sausages etc in the top hot compartment I ordered 2 fish and chips specials at £3.60 the fish was cooked to order. The quality and size of the portion exalant staff exalant. If you have not tried Sam, s I suggest you do you will not be disappointed..

I grew up in Grimsby so consider myself somewhat of a Fish and Chips conniseur and the meal I just got from here was as good as it gets. All fish is cooked to order! Lovely light and crispy batter. Fresh chips, friendly staff.

Would use this fish N Chips again, no problem

Service was poor,not polite,rude with there miserable faces.no greeting

Prices are expensive due to our food on a tray so portion size not adequate.

Food was poor with pure grease that left our mouths tacky.

Batter on the fish was not suitable, oil needs changing.

Overall WE wont be back again!
