Ordered 30 vegetable samosa , come home eating them to find that 15 of them had meat in it. Obviously we stopped eating it as soon as we realised. We checked packaging and it said 15 slam on one of the bags on there which I guess stands for meat. And the veggie pakora where so salty. Customer service is nice , nice people. But talk about dropping the ball with meat samasa
I brought sheesh kebabas for my son's first birthday party and when got home they had a really bad smell very stale not happy with this poor food service money don't grow on trees.
Good value for money with exceptional variety of great tasting Indian dishes.
Buying some gulab jamun samosas and milk cake my kids like milk cake what they shown on display but he put different one in the box its so sticky i put in bin waste the money why we can’t trust on indian shops
The best samosas I have ever had ., cooked fresh to order . We travel 30 miles for them , infact all the food is absolutely on point
Disgusting orderd a onion baji and sweetcorn baji so salty and hard I don’t know who messed with my food causing me to literally throw up..burnt all inside of my lips with how much salt when I rang all they said was sorry… they have kids working behind counter “helping out giving customers incorrect change on purpose” speaking in there language quietly furthermore this was my regular somosa shop and will no longer be sadly this is beyond a joke I won’t be eating from there again ????
September 10, 2022: On our way to Edinburgh, we stopped over at Sagar Sweet Centre by chance. Found large variety of desi sweets and food. Bought some 'Saag & Roti" for the road and sweets for our friends in Lancaster.
More than good experience as everything was exceptionally good from customer service to freshness of the food being sold.
It was the Taste & Originality of "Saag & Roti' which forced us to visit the place again on our way back to London a few days later, though this place was slightly out of way as well. We wish we have a similar outlet with the same freshness, originality & taste in Canada.
Wonderful food and people serving great ambience to enjoy India food not a big eat in place but can still enjoy your Indian sweets and savouries.. excuse me for spelling mistakes must visit before Diwali lots of sweets there I mean Indian sweets... Book in advance to avoid disappointment

Quick Facts About Sagar Restaurant Sweet Centre

Sagar Restaurant Sweet Centre has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. In terms of strengths, one recurring theme is the exceptional variety of Indian dishes and the good value for money. Customers have praised the restaurant for its great-tasting food and have even traveled a considerable distance to enjoy their samosas. The customer service is also regarded as nice and the ambience of the place is described as enjoyable.
Another strength mentioned is the freshness and originality of certain dishes, such as the "Saag & Roti," which left a lasting impression on one customer. This suggests that the restaurant is capable of delivering high-quality and unique flavors.
However, there are notable weaknesses mentioned as well. One customer had a negative experience when they ordered vegetable samosas but found meat in half of them. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and quality control in the food preparation process. Additionally, another customer complained about the poor smell and staleness of the sheesh kebabs they purchased.
Furthermore, there were complaints about the excessive saltiness of the veggie pakora and onion baji. In one instance, a customer even experienced discomfort and nausea due to the high salt content. This indicates a lack of consistency in the taste and preparation of certain dishes, which can be a turn-off for customers.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the issue of trust. One customer mentioned that they purchased gulab jamun samosas and milk cake but received a different product than what was displayed. This suggests a lack of transparency and trustworthiness in the representation of the products. Trust is important in any business, and such incidents can erode customer confidence and loyalty.
Another complaint raised was concerning the service provided by the staff, particularly the presence of kids working behind the counter. There were allegations of incorrect change being given to customers and conversations in another language that left customers feeling excluded or suspicious. This indicates a lack of professionalism and can negatively impact the overall customer experience.
In conclusion, while Sagar Restaurant Sweet Centre has strengths such as a variety of great-tasting Indian dishes, good value for money, and nice customer service, there are notable weaknesses that need to be addressed. These include inconsistencies in food quality, lack of attention to detail, excessive saltiness, issues of trust, and concerns over staff professionalism. Addressing these weaknesses can help the restaurant improve its overall reputation and customer satisfaction.
