This place has all the classic barber feels. My son is 4 years old and they did a great job with him. Best haircut he has had with a price you can't beat.
I have long hair and asked for a simple 1" trim. I said that I wanted to keep it long. He ignored my request and then proceeded to cut off 4 to 5 inches. And it was done unevenly. I didn't notice until it was too late because I wasn't facing the mirror during the cut. I will not be coming back. He does regular short men's haircuts fine, but has no idea how to cut longer hair. I was polite, tipped anyway, but the damage was done.
This is definitely a great barber shop to go to. I felt like I had stepped into a time machine and went back to the 50’s. When you are waiting make sure to look in their detailed photo album next to the TV and reading material. It has some great history of the shop and Woodstock square in it. One thing I’d like to remind everyone is that this is a cash only barber shop. Overall I got a great haircut and it was quick and exactly what I wanted. Can’t beat their price either and you walk out feeling and looking good.
Good cut and they use a vacuum thing to minimize hair going everywhere. Great location, too.

Took my dad there after a long time in quarantine at an assisted living and they are best!! My dad uses a walker and they were so caring and amazing! He came out looking like a new and younger man! Thank you soo much!!
I just got another great haircut from Bob's place and I thought I'd write a review. I've been coming here since I was in middle school. I travelled a lot for work in my 20s and now that I'm back in Woodstock for over a year now I'm back at Bob's and it's good to see the place just as I remember all those years ago.
I know a lot of men in town that get their hairs cut here and if you haven't been, stop by.
It doesn't smell like fruit or hairspray, the TV is always showing quality programming and a hot shave on the neck is good for business.
Also, as for Jose's review, I get my fade here. Never had a problem. I sell a ton of roofs with this fade. Maybe if you think you look like you have cancer you should see a doctor, not Bob.
