First of all I gave a 20% tip! And I paid $85 total for a fill and the design of these nails including the little diamond embellishment on my ring fingers. It was $65 for the fill and the design and then an additional $4 for each little embellishment. They think of everything when it comes to your comfort at this location! They have a cell phone stand so you can look through your phone. They have a wrist rest so when they're holding up your hand to do your nails your wrist doesn't get tired, they have a purse hanger so that your purse doesn't have to go on the floor and get dirty. The bathroom was immaculate! That's a bonus for me! Inside it's painted like clouds and there is a forest scene painted on the wall. As I was getting my nails done the gentleman offered me water two times while I was there.. free of charge of course. I was really shocked on this because I've been to many nail places and never has anyone ever offered us any type of drink. ???????????????? The wait till I was served was 30 min. But She took her time and did a really good job filling my nails and also rubbed lotion on my hands after. They were all really friendly and polite. I will definitely be coming back here! ❤️
I’m surprised why they’re so many bad reviews. I usually go to another shop but I wanted to try something different. I’m highly impressed. Annie did my manicure & Tom did my pedicure. Everyone in the salon is super nice. They even served water bottles to everyone. They really took their time and asked if I liked my nails before putting it under the UV. Tom scrubs my foot very very well. Probaly the best experience I’ve ever had. Give them a try!
Literally the best overall expierence I've ever had at any nail salon. The nail tech who did my set completely exceeded my expectations!!; She took her time and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. She was also a very sweet lady. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I for sure will be a reoccurring customer with them from now on.
Not much of a conversation with new customers. Did do my nails beautifully. Great skills. Mild ambiance with smooth music. Clean. Quiet. Staff is respectful and caring. A little pricey. I had a fill done. It was quick and done exactly how I asked her to do my nails. The repair is unnoticeable. Thank you for your services. Next time try to enjoy people's company. We're nice one you get to know us. ????
Hannah was absolutely amazing. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly that. I am very pleased and will be a reoccurring customer!
I highly recommend Ruby Nail Spa. I have been coming here for a couple years. The staff are such kind people & their shop is always immaculate. They do a fantastic job on manicures and pedicures. I bring my mom here too and they take such good care of her. I would never go anywhere else. They are the best nail salon in Merced!
UPDATE: Nails lifted really quick (within a week) so i dropped the rating to 4 stars instead of 5.

Their customer service is outstanding and way better than rose nails. They will stay open past their closing time just to make sure their customers are happy. If you don’t have an appointment, I’d recommend calling since they get pretty busy so they’ll tell you the times they have available for you to come in. Saves you time and gas.
As for their acrylic nails, they use the dipping technique to create the nail. First time I have ever had this done on me but it took about the same amount of time as the normal technique. Because sod this, their salon doesn’t smell like the acrylic monomer (liquid used to make the nails) so that was nice. I was helped by Dan and he took his time and made sure my nails came out the way I wanted them. I paid $42 for a full set ($38 for the acrylic nails + $5 for the coffin shape). Would definitely recommend.
I went in today and it peeled hours later. Also didn’t paint all of my nail bed. In my picture, you can the space in between. I’m disappointed that I had a bad experience. Lady was nice, but seemed rushed.
