Another hidden gem in east London. I was trying to find something to eat around Wanstead area and this pops up. I always love some jelly eel and this is definitely one of the delicious shops I have been to. Pie crust was cooked nicely and to combine with the chilli vinegar and liquor are such a treat. Ample of seatings available. They also accept credit card payment. Good place to come for some nice British food.

Popped into their Chingford branch yesterday. The restaurant was super clean and the staff were very attentive. I had 2 pies and 1 mash plus liqour. The pastry on the pies was lovely, the meat filling was on point and in a rich gravey. Lovely liqour, nice and creamy. The mash was great but needed salt. That's just a personal thing for me as my family had no complaints about their mash.

Went on Saturday prior to going to football always been a tradition with the family. Disappointed with Quality of the pies very little meat inside them. My son commented the same & they are unable to do hot drinks???? too busy they said. Other than that was OK. Have been there before & don’t remember it being like that, time to find a new venue.

Nice food in a nice shop . Average sounds derogatory but that’s what it is . Pies are nice but pork pie size ( slight exaggeration but you get my drift ) mash is , well nice .liquor is wet etc For a market leader only the Romford shop has had me waxing lyrical . So if they can do it ?

Travelled from Devon today to do present drop off at me aunt carols! Always get pie and mash from here.... super ladies, always a delight to see you... year on year! Now for the scram...x
