The food and service at this establishment is impeccable. I love my food and have eaten in hundreds of restaurants. Carola is by far the best restaurant I have ever had the privilege of dining in. The food is incredible, some of the best Italian food around. Ive visited this restaurant countless times and the standard & quality of food has never changed. They continue to produce consistently delicious food time and time again. The service is amazing also, all the waiters and waitresses are very polite, friendly and attentive. They will literally settle for nothing less than perfect and it really shows. They really know how to create a calm and comforting atmosphere which gives the restaurant a homely feel. I don’t think I’ll ever find an Italian restaurant to top this one, I pass 3 of them just to get here. If your reading this, do not hesitate to pay these guys a visit. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. I strongly recommend them to everyone and anyone.
Na het lezen van reviews hier gaan eten. Het is echt een aanrader. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, een uitgebreide kaart met heerlijke en verse gerechten. Was ook gezellig en druk in het restaurant en dat voor een maandag.
I cannot thank enough fab Chef Rui, for crafting an old fave of mine as house special tonight: "Coniglio alla cacciatora su polenta fritta" (Casserole rabbit on fried polenta).
Trust my words, I'm Italian: I've been raised eating rabbit and Chef Rui's is like my mom's: simply spectacular !!!
I have ordered takeaway via Uber eats 3 times now. I don't normally leave reviews but I must say, the food, service, attention to detail and thought put into their food is impeccable. I had dietary specifications and preference for each dish to which was followed through. My partner is Italian and we both agreed, the dishes we ordered (black ink seafood linguine & seafood risotto) tastes like home. The portions are truly generous and the food arrives in good time, well packaged. Whenever we want Italian delivery, only one restaurant comes to mind. Sublime work guys. Thank you for every super satisfying meal thus far.
We felt very rushed, they wanted to take food orders pretty much as soon as we were given menus, was not even given a moment to look at drinks. When told not ready, a different waiter came back and they looked almost annoyed when we said can we have a more more minutes. There was one very miserable old waiter. He didn't smile once and didn't make us feel welcome. There was a girl who was a waitress, she was extremely nice and welcoming, sadly she wasn't looking after our table.
It was so lovely to return to Carola, we are always treated like family here. Sarah and all the staff are so lovely and attentive. The food is delicious and we loved the Xmas decorations too. I had my favourite dish for the main, which is steak and pasta.
Also, thank you for asking about any allergies or intolerances. I have none but it's super important that all restaurants ask this question while the order is taken. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Staff was extremely polite and sweet. Loved our veg thin crust pizza and starter. One of the best pizzas we've had in a long time.
