I'm so glad I found Rancho's Pet Parlor N Play! I learned that a great groomer I already knew is now here, too! The whole space is set up with your pet in mind. The air conditioner was running strong and cool. The "meet and greet" area when you first walk in was just the right size for my puppy to get used to being in a new place. It was Cooper's first grooming. My 5 month old sheepadoodle was happy to be there seeing other dogs around. I love this place so close to my home!
I want to add: My puppy's veterinarian, Dr. Ross from Carson Valley Veterinary Hospital said to tell you that my puppy's grooming was the BEST he's ever seen. He said he'd be recommending you too!
So happy to have found Rancho's Pet Parlor N Play!! The ladies are so welcoming and it is such a clean establishment. Our goldendoodle was in much need of a spa day and they delivered! She looks, feels and smells amazing! ????
Met Julieann last Spring at a friends baby shower. She told me she was opening her place. I sent my cousin and her dog there while they were visiting from Oregon...she was so happy with the service for her boy Stanley. I just took my golden there yesterday. Best job ever!!! He looks so handsome and she treated us so kindly. Will be back soon!!!
They did a fantastic job on my little girl. She is a husky malamute and has a TON of fur, especially in the winter. She’s been groomed many times but this was the first time coming to Rancho’s Pet Parlor and they did the best job I’ve seen. They were patient and worked on her for 6 hours to get the mats and shedding undercoat out. Only thing was they did not give her water in that 6 hours (which they did tell me and were honest) so she was very thirsty when we got home.
Every time I take my dogs to pet parlor n play they do such an incredible job! I travel from South Lake Tahoe down to their location because their work is superior to any groomer up here. My dogs comes out looking exactly how I want them to. The groomers are kind, patient and remarkably skilled.
I’m very happy with this place, they are very nice and do a great job on my labradoodle. She can be a handful, but they are great with her! ????☺️

Phenomenal. My cat is 14 and arthritic. She’s a longhair Turkish Angora, and I’ve had her since she was a day old, as she and her siblings were orphaned and I had to bottle feed them. She can’t groom as well as she did before she got arthritic and she gets horrible mats around her neck and on her tummy.
She comes here for a nice shave and Maryann is great about giving her a soft space, and working very gently because of how painful she is when she moves. I looked for months for a groomer that would take care of kitties. This was our second visit, and we’ll be back!
