Excellent heritage Station running Steam Trains throughout the year. Loads of parking Cafes Pubs and Supermarkets minutes away. An excellent day to be had on the trains and exploring around town. When it's open definatly worth a visit!

Had a quick unplanned ride down to Rawtenstall on a diesel.

A very interesting place to visit with a chance of experiencing a ride on an old fashioned steam train ❤️???? I even wrote about it recently via baldhiker.com ????

Great place to visit, very nice town with lots of great restaurants, but better to take a ride on one of the trains on the East Lancs railway - diesel or steam. Staff are amazing, really helpful and friendly.

What a fantastic heritage railway, lovely volunteers who could not have been more kind, helpful and informative. Brilliant day, well worth a visit for a fantastic rail journey ????????????
