I actually feel bad writing this review. My experience at the barber shop was pleasant. Good open convo with barbers and customers, was made to feel welcomed in the shop. The place was neat and clean. But as far as my haircut, I was pretty disappointed. My fade was, well... Not faded. I had a noticeable line where the fade should have been. I asked for a skin tight fade and he tappered it and faded it at the same time. And it was not even. Didnt even line up the edges around my forehead/hairline. I had to go home and try to fix the uneven blends on the sides and back. Maybe it was because they were about to close and he was rushing. It was one of the worst haircuts I've ever paid for. And i am not saying this out of anger or malice. It simply was not a good cut. I am giving them a 3 for the prompt courteous service, the good vibes and clean shop. But my haircut itself deserved a 1 star score
As a female, walking into a barbershop can be a bit intimidating. I went to Rafiq’s and immediately felt comfortable. The professionalism and attention to my needs were indescribable. Definitely will recommend this barbershop. They will see me again soon!
If you are looking for a diverse barbershop to talk about guy stuff. This is the place where men can go and just kick back and talk sports cars and so on. I have been going here for 6 years. I love Kas and Erick they are a great hard working pair. And they both can cut really good.
Tried other places and I either didn't get the haircut I asked for or I felt like I was just another $ client. When I look for a barber I want to receive the cut I want and at the same time feel like I'm not rushed through the process. Rafiqz is the the place to go where you feel welcomed and even better you get an awesome haircut for a reasonable price! Haircut is so good I drive 20 minutes without thinking twice. Ask for Erick...
