This place is hit or miss, but today they were definitely a miss! I was in contact with them planning to have my hair done for a week. I have dreads and confirmed several times that they were able to do crochets over my dreads. They told me each time that they could. I needed my hair done today and needed to be done by a specific time. They confirmed they could do it today and to be there by 8am so I could be done by the time I specified. I arrived early, waited for over 3 hours while they constantly told me that the person who could do my hair was coming, only to finally be put in a chair and told they couldn’t do my hair and the person who could do it wasn’t going to be there until Tuesday.

This place gets away with stuff like this all the time because they happen to be quick and sometimes good with braids, but their service is horrible and this was an extreme inconvenience for me.

I won’t be back and I suggest that you invest your money somewhere else. There are plenty of better places.

I received so many compliments while I was in the shop getting my hair done. This was my second time here.

Poor excuse for a hair salon. My 12 year old went in to get tribal feedins they were adamant that she should get what they had time for!!! No mam not for my 180-220. The end results after cutting the braids out twice without talking to me they sent my baby away in tears!!! Never go to this place first of all they don’t even know how to do feedins so she’s at another salon with excellent customer service and not one tear in site!!!! I don’t mind paying for service just make sure you’re actually doing the service that was requested!!????????????????

Anka is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I had an appointment and she still made me wait took another person to do 4 braids in her hair to make extra money ! Then she had the nerve to yell at me because I said I wanted someone to wash and blow my hair … she told me to wash my own if I didn’t want to pay extra money ! This place doesn’t know how to talk to clients! I won’t be back I walked out because of principle! I had somewhere to go plus I didn’t like how she had an attitude when I asked her “could I get stitch braids in the front of my hair”? … she said “don’t talk to me I’ll be with you in a second to do your hair” like really…… ladies if your looking for good customer service and feeling good when you walk out the salon … don’t go here on god ! I don’t recommend…. I would give 0 stars if I could . I went to Queen Nest around the corner after … received good service and walked out happy. Quick hair braiding LLC can kiss my a**!!!!!!

Very pleasant experience with Zena! Very professional, accommodating, and honest exchange. I got exactly what I asked for. The other ladies were also very nice. The teamwork was admirable . She even offered to drop me off at the metro station when I asked how far it was from the salon. Im just so pleased that there are still beautiful human beings that exist in this often cruel world . I will definitely come back again.

9/24 - hadn’t realized it’d been two years since I’ve gone . And my stylist far exceeds my expectations each time . I absolutely love my hair . All of the stylists are friendly and professional. I enjoy the Afro beats and the tone of the atmosphere. I never feel uncomfortable or my request for certain styles being a hassle . These ladies are talented and take pride in their work . Also wanted to say thank you for being available for me last minute . Made my pre birthday special !!!

Their service was quick and easy. I have only been coming to this establishment since April.

But the stylist remembers what I want and the color. I have no complaints eith Kaadia.

Worse hair salon everrr, I will never come back. I came with my girlfriend. I arrived before my girlfriend. The lady took my hair out. Tried to detangle with no water, when I asked for her to spray with water she decided to go help someone else with their hair. Mind you I got there at 12 and waited until 2:30. Worse experience ever and I won’t be back

Lovely experience as always. I have been coming here since I was 10 and the stylists are always consistent with the hair styles. The stylists really are quick and professional.
