Für die Hawaiianer mag es ein besonderer historischer Ort sein, für mich als Besucher sind es nur noch ein paar Steine auf dem Boden. Das Monument muss man nicht gesehen haben, aber die Aussicht auf das Meer und die angrenzende Bucht ist sehr schön, daher noch drei Sterne.

This is a cool place with an excellent view. If you do visit this monument, make sure you know the history of it or else you just think it's a pile of rocks.
The road there is very narrow and the parking area is about 6 parking spots. So if you have a large vehicle, it might be a little tight and be prepared to pull over to the side so that other cars can fit through.
All that others have said is great, but I'd stay away from the "altar" or the rest of the interior of the heiau. It is a major Hawaiian site that once hosted the most important religious ceremonies of the indigenous people. Be respectful, please.
