I got my hair highlighted here because it was close to home and because some acquaintances recommended the owner. After leaving, my hair was not only yellow, but I had severe color bleeding and color lines across both sides of my head from my temple to mid hair. I went back for correction, was then given some low lights on top of the bleeding, which then turned a greenish color. When I called and expressed not only my anguish over my ruined hair, but over how fragile my hair had become I was told “it must be the temperature I use on my hair or what I do to it”. I do not use hot tools, especially at my temples. I was then given back about 15 percent of what I paid because “that’s what it would take to fix what I was upset about”. I’ve never been so horrified by a salon or the treatment, especially given that it was recommended to me by others.
For our wedding this Summer, my Maid of Honor, Bridesmaid and Flower girl all got styled by Nicole and Gianna. We were so happy with the service and they all looked absolutely amazing, lasting perfectly throughout the day. Can warmly recommend Pure Hair salon and we’re forever grateful for this day.

I have been going to the owner Nicole since she was a haircutter in Freehold. She provides an amazing haircut and her new shop in Belmar is beautiful ????
Gianna is amazing ! I needed a wedding do and she made it happen for 2 wedding's I went to her for the first wedding and I knew just who to call for the 2nd ! Anyone can do someone's hair once but when you want to go back that's the sign of a good stylist! Thank you Gianna!
I went in as a brunette & walked out as a blonde. the whole process was quick and easy, the hairdressers were so kind and so professional about everything. They spoke to me abt realistic expectations yet gave me a beautiful and satisfying result. Was very happy with the prices and the results!! would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a good experience & good outcome.
Highly recommend! I needed help with my hair after a year of covid neglect and Nicole provided a smoothing treatment my first visit. Loved it and returned for foils, glaze and cut. The salon does a great job with safety protocols and the staff is very accommodating. Gabby does a great job making you comfortable & gives a great wash. Nicole listened to what I wanted and I am very happy with my color and cut. Talented, professional, friendly - excellent experience!
