I am a semi-regular at Pumpkin and I am always welcomed by a warm smile by anyone behind the desk. They usually call out my order as I approach as they have a super memory of customers and their previous orders. Prompt service always delivered, enabling me to get out to the platform intime for my train. Keep up the great work ????
A wonderful little cafe with friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. The chocolate croissants and other pastries are fresh, warm and melt in the mouth. The location right within the train station is super convenient. Lovely place!
It's a really nice train station cafe. Staff are really welcoming and friendly. Coffee is quite enjoyable and they cater for non dairy drinkers as well. George (manager) is a credit to the company.
Lovely cafe. Friendly staff. Love the bulberry muffins. And I’m allowed to take in my dog when he’s coming on the train with me, so I can still get my takeaway tea ????
When there's a card openly inviting you to review them then that's what I'll do. Sorry to say this is a pretty abysmal place..from when you walk in..dirty floor, dirty tables, ripped seating..its a miserable experience. I ordered bacon rolls and coffee...the coffee is appalling, watery and tasteless, the bap was flaccid and damp. There was sugar and bits all over the condiment station, crisps on the floor and tables left with stuff on them. I do understand this isn't fine dining but it is what is still so bad about British train station food...over priced, rubbish and tatty. Why is it so hard to provide decent food at decent prices, I can’t understand it, thousands of places do! My advice stock up on supplies before you travel as the fare on the train isn't much better
I came late on a bitterly cold day with stocks of fresh food running down due a rail strike tomorrow. Staff sorted me out with my 1st ever panini and advised a fair price with the meal deal.
Great people who do you proud and I shall keep returning.
