Not been in since the previous owners as made to feel unwelcome. Came in for the acoustic Sunday and was amazed! Lovely smiley team on the bar, landlord and landlady also very welcoming. Nice to see a traditional pub still thriving within the current climate. These guys are doing something right!
Friendly welcoming atmosphere, large assortment of drinks,bar snacks cobs and pizza. This pub really goes the extra mile for customers even getting non alcoholic drinks in for my husband. Dog friendly and cosy at any time of the day.
What a fantastic pub , super friendly staff and such a warm welcome when you arrive , the pizzas are delicious and there’s lots off drinks to choose from, plenty of outdoor seating in the summer and lovely on the inside
Fantastic local pub, always a friendly atmosphere. Ales are kept and poured perfectly and the pizzas are a really nice treat too.
A brilliant pub with great beers and a really welcoming atmosphere. It's clear to see Shaun, Lisa and the team put in a lot of effort to make The Plough one of the best places in Burton to enjoy a drink!
Possibly the cleanest pub I have ver been in, anywhere. Great pints of Pedigree and a warm welcome. Also had a great scotch egg, I stil can't work out how they kept the yok so soft!
Great local pub, beer always good. Staff make you feel welcome. The quiz and bingo nights are always a winner
Went for cheap beer night, not expecting anything great to be honest. Beer was superb, new lad on the bar was a little slow but in training. Landlord apologised but explained, but it was no issue. Lovely clean pub and everyone welcoming. Worth a taxi from Swadlincote with my mates.
