Amazing little spot for sushi, Japanese food and oriental buns. I loved it, I kept ordering one after another. Nice customer service. The sushi was fresh, although the rice could have been softer for my taste. Cakes were very addictive. Prices were also great.

So I have been going to pings for about a years now and have tried pretty much everything they have got. Their fresh macaroons are there best you can get by far and the sushi is incredible. I have tried their swirl cake may times before and have liked every one, however I never tried one of their celebration cakes, they always look amazing in the windows everytime I walk pass so I finally went in and asked to order one for my wedding. The team at pings went above and beyond because the cake turned out amazing and everyone at the wedding said it was the best cake they have had, it is so light and fluffy and the taste was just amazing. For the price you pay, you get unbelievable quality and service. So thank you pings and the team for making our day that much more special

I have been looking for a good, dedicated place for sushi in Luton for a while and as if by magic, fairly recently Pings opens up! I was after a selection of sushi as I was trying to introduce some friends to the world of sushi. The staff member was polite and knowledgeable. She put together a platter for me and the price was reasonable. After sampling these, my friends now know their favourites and we look forward to buying more in the future! I also got some macaroons that were delicious. Would recommend a visit.

Edit- the sushi looks and tastes much better lately, fish is fresh, avocado is soft and veggies are crunchy as supposed to be. They also offer quick delivery service, so I am gonna re-rate my experience with them.

Previous Review- For a sushi lover as I am, this place is nothing special. I bought sushi from them more than once but I am never really satisfied; the rice doesn't taste right, the avocado last time was just too hard, also it's too expensive for what it is and when it's nearly time for them to close the shop in the evening, they could discount the boxes they haven't sold, instead of throwing them away (because of course you can't save them for the next day as it's fresh fish), but they don't so it's such a waste of food and resources. The staff is nice, so I feel a bit sorry about it, but I won't be back. K Bob korean restaurant (always at the mall, Luton) makes a much better sushi.

I ordered for home and was fascinated! The best sushi around and I'm very happy to have you in Luton, I've been looking for a good sushi for a long time and I will definitely be your customer from today. I ordered most types of sushi and some sweets and everything was incredibly tasty. Thank you very much and I wish you success!

This was my favourite place when they opened and my first review is below; however, now I might never visit again. I ordered a customised cake after having a great first customised cake experience; but this time everything was wrong. The flavour I requested was wrong, the design I asked for was wrong too. Upon confronting the owner he just kept saying that I was offered a refund on the day of collection but what he did not understand was that was a birthday cake an I couldn’t afford to get a customised cake on the day so I accepted whatever design rectification they made but the least I expected was to see the right flavour upon cutting it. Later, upon visiting the shop I was told that they don’t serve chocolate chip cake so I do not understand why the staff sold something to me that is not on the menu. It was a miserable experience and the owner was purely rude on both occasions (the day when I collected the cake and the day when I went back to let him no what a misery the cake was).

Would not recommend for customised cake at all (pictures added)

I tried this place for the first time today and I’m surprised. I think this place is something very different from the usual, it’s serving oriental desserts which I’ve not seen in Luton yet. That Pandan cake was extremely delicious, so light and so fluffy and so fresh. I’ve never eaten a cake so light ever. The staff was super friendly and one of them even came out to speak with us and take our comments. Would definitely recommend. They have halal options and are pretty well priced.

Came here on recommendation of review on cake box. We had spent £8 in there and the cakes wer youckkky. If you want a nice springing tasty sponge cake with excellent customer service at half the price you should come here
