Feeling Like a Princess
The owner of this shop scams his clients and doesn’t know how to properly color hair. After having highlight services done 2 times we felt comfortable going back for a lightening. We went in for a color and he completely damaged the hair and rushed through the hair cut. I was completely let down because we grew to trust his work and with this situation, he promised that if we didn’t like the style we can come back and get it fixed for free, only to charge close to the same amount he initially charged for the first haphazard job. How you deal with issues that arise with your customers is a true judge of character as a business owner.
I've loved ossamas for over 10 years now.... not too much lately bc I wear protective styles, but when I want to wear it out, that's where I go and they do a great job every time. Even when I don't want to pay for a trim, they do it if it's really needed and I love the care I get. The only thing I don't like is the assembly line of people I have to tip.... but then my hair looks great, and I don't mind.

They put some kind of straightener in my 12 year old hair. Her natural curl pattern is gone and her hair has been falling out. So wrong to do. If you can’t do natural hair just say no. They charge extra for “curly” hair and do some dishonest stuff like this.
Visited here Sunday, got a Brazilian blowout, highlights and color, it was worth the investment in my hair. They did such an amazing job and made my first experience at a hair salon top notch. Everyone was very nice, professional and took very good care of my hair and provided me with the proper knowledge I needed on each product. I will definitely be returning! If you haven't had a Brazilian blowout you need to get it. Great for the naturals!
Stylist and crew did an awesome job with my hair and color. He listened to what I wanted and gave suggestions to my hair staying healthy with the color process. I highly recommend this salon. They treat you well not like your just another client. I'm so pleased that I will be going back again.
I had a wonderful experience. My hair is natural, coarse and coiled. I experience extreme dryness, so they recommended the Aloe Vera treatment. My hair was so soft and beautiful when they finished. Normally I don't straighten my hair, but with the help of dry shampoo, it stayed straight for a week! There is only one draw back - several people work on you (a person at the wash station, one at the blow dry station and the stylist). Everyone expects a tip, so if your services total $75, be prepared to add $15 to the total. Other than that, I love this place and will definitely go again.
