On a visit from Ireland and popped in for some fish and chips. Due to dietary requirements I can't have gluten so the lady was able to make me fish without batter, the food was delicious and I would definitely recommend this place. Chips were cooked lovely my husband really enjoyed them... 1st class

Knowing I would be traveling to Osmotherley I as always took time to check out the reviews of local take always / cafes / restaurants & was very impressed with the reviews of the local fish & chip shop. I am & always have been a lover of good old fashioned, straight forward fish & chips but am finding it increasingly difficult with each passing year to find chip shops that still satisfy like the Friday night teas of my childhood. Tonight was the exception, amazing fresh cod encased in the lightest batter accompanied by piping hot chips fried in beef dripping… OMG I am hooked, the food was amazing, the staff really friendly with a little light hearted banter thrown in & exceptional value for money… I’ve been transported back in time 45 years & enjoyed every minute of it!!! Cannot wait for an excuse to return
