What a fantastic little restaurant this is. We had the best evening. Food is great but the most important thing about this place is the hospitality. We couldn't have asked for more.

Decent food at a reasonable price served quickly by friendly staff, what more can you ask for?

Only suggestion would be to get yourself an instagram account, the cafe is tucked away and would benefit from a bit of a social media boost :)

I had the small English breakfast and wow!… It was the best full English I’ve ever had. The interior has a cosy and original vibe (lots of photographs). Staff were great and we were served quickly. 5/5

Steak just okay, had veins in it which made it tough. Ordered medium-well done with no pink, it arrived pink. Great for a woucher deal, but wouldn't come and pay full price for it.

Visited Oscar's on Tuesday while attending funeral in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Cannot speak highly enough of this little gem. Staff could not have been more attentive and pulled out all the stops to make sure we were well fed and in time for the funeral.Great food and staff we would not hesitate to recommend.

Such a great gem of a place, my partner and I love going here for a full breakfast. It's small and cosy and the staff are always so friendly. Food is good and never disappointing

I went this evening with a voucher. My partner and I had barbecue chicken wings to start which were very tasty and with a crispy skin which wings need. The barbecue sauce was delicious and portion size was more than ample. The sauce was so good it had to be homemade.

We both had an 8oz rump steak with chips and salad for our mains. Our steaks were cooked exactly to our request and very tasty and the chips were homemade and delicious. A bit of a crunch on the outside and fluffy inside. The food was hot and very tasty, the service was excellent, the staff were lovely and the wine was delicious too. I had sauvignon blanc. Could not fault it and will definitely return and will reccomend to others. It does feel a bit like a cafe but as the food, staff and service were amazing this would not put me off at all. The restaurant had great pictures to look at on the wall of celebrities. Thanks Oscar's loved it and see you soon.
