Very friendly and accommodating. Make you feel at home even if you aren't local. Not very busy but it was a Tuesday so understandable. I would visit again if ever in the area. Not too expensive either, very reasonable prices.
This place was amazing. I went there absolutely blackout drunk and the bartender was gentle yet firm when I ordered something that was not conducive to my goal of total liver failure after my many repeated pleas that I was not driving that night and that I should be served. 14.3/10. Will be back.
Darn good Bloidy Mary Garnished with bacon, pickled onion, spicy green beans, fat olive... and only $5.75 during the all day happy "hour". Day bartender is great, she was friendly and humorous. The building has that antique charm. Absolutely loved it.

Awesome, friendly, dive bar! We were in town for a couple days for the half marathon and visited here a couple times. Bartenders were always warm and welcoming and heavy handed with their pours. Definitely will visit again next time I'm in town
Been going into the oakwood since the 70s.....still a great place I'm one of the only old guys left walking......I'm used to Texas prices so about half of what they cost here....but...welcome back to California
