Last week, I strolled into the salon having made no mention that I had a tangled mess before my arrival. At the 11th hour, I added some castor oil and leave in conditioner to try and conceal the wreckage. For my part, I had accepted responsibility for creating a mess, and whatever needed to be done, I would live with it.

My stylist, Vicki has been dedicated to bringing my natural hair back to life over the nearly five years I have been a customer. Prior to coming to Nubiance, I had thinning in the crown area of my head. It has since grown back with the diligence and care I have received from Vicki.

Now this situation! When we greeted each other as we normally do, I could tell she was looking with kind eyes like what have you done. The headband did not supply much cover, and I sat down for a few minutes before being called to the back. It was time for triage!

I walked to the chair haphazardly explaining what I had not done since being away a month. Her husband said, “We got you!” That was reassuring. I relaxed, and he proceeded to undo the nightmare. They worked to detangle the mess, give me a proper shampoo and conditioning, color, blow out, trim, and style. I essentially received a hair makeover (LOL). I had the works! I ended the visit with neck length hair, a smile, and a sigh of relief.

The owners of Nubiance Hair Salon and Spa are highly professional, experienced, and great at what they do. They also use excellent high-quality products on my hair, and I’m always pleased with the end result. In addition, the salon is exceptionally clean, attractive, relaxing and spacious.

This was my first time coming to this salon, & by a whim I was immediately impressed and felt so at home walking in. They have a very eccentric style shop that caters to your every hair care need. Very professional and knowledgeable. Definitely will be back.

I was referred a few years ago by a friend and have been a client ever since. The staff is very professional with pleasant hellos and promptly checking in clients.

Vickie, the salon owner, is always so pleasant and professional . I enjoy that she gets to know her clients and gives a listening ear. For every service I've had done (color, relaxer, cut) she always provided excellent quality.My recent relaxer and cut was amazing! No matter how I style my hair, the cut is even and symmetrical. 2 months later and it has maintained its shape throughout!

This salon is the only establishment that I trust with my hair. I’ve been going to Nubiance for years and have never had an issue; conversely, my expectations have been exceeded. The professionalism, artistry, and service is off the charts.

After not having my natural hair pressed for over 2 years and experiencing the devastating results of neglect, I ran to Nubiance in a cry for help. I received the keratin treatment and three hours later, my hair was silky smooth. The package even included a free trim! The staff is very kind & flexible and even allowed me to take a conference call in one of their offices. I was very pleased with the service, atmosphere, and location. I will definitely return regularly.

I haven’t been to the salon in years due to bad experiences in the past. This place has gained my trust back! I will be a regular from here on out. The energy is amazing. The stylists are genuine and sweet! The music is awesome. I recommend this place to anyone .
