Everyone here is their own business and they just rent a spot. Lexi is amazing for guy haircuts, $20 for a guy haircut and hair wash is awesome.

I have visited this place quite a few times in my life from Brazilians in my early 20’s to getting my nails done and my own hair cut a few times.
The most recent time I called to get my gender fluid teen’s hair cut from middle of their back to a really short pixie.
I explained this to the person on the phone and she said “uh… I guess I can put you with Roberto”
I should have trusted my gut.
He kept trying to give them a short stacked bob and I was repeatedly telling him shorter and showing him pictures of many different people with the haircut my teen wanted.
I understand people not getting gender fluidity but I feel like the receptionist just pushed us onto an older man who seemed to only want to give my kid an old woman’s haircut he kept telling us it would be disjointed if he went any shorter…
I had to physically manipulate their hair and show them where I wanted it shorter and he only really asked me. If it was ok not speaking to my teen about anything but school.
Anyway. I thought it was weird. We got close to what they wanted but it was difficult and I felt uncared for. I tipped him and thanked him but we won’t be back not to him and not to any of the other stylists..
I’m happy that my kid got to feel affirmed with their new short hair but we did not leave with what they wanted and it was clear to me that it is probably not the most queer friendly hair salon out there.
Not a single person was wearing a mask either.
Favorite Aveda salon I've been too! The staff is nothing short of top tier.

Kami was such a doll!!!! This was my first time at this Salon. I’m visiting from FL. Kami looked at the pics I had brought and listened to what I wanted for my cut and style. She asked many questions to insure I was happy. I can’t say enough of much I “love” my cut & style. Kami was a lifesaver!!! EXCELLENT….I wish she was in FL.
Your entire staff is incredibly friendly, And Kazue is amazing! My Mother, my daughter, and myself have been going to her for a few years now and she never disappoints. She is a true gem! I look just as forward to our conversations as I do getting my hair cut and styled.
