Been a member for a month and I can attest that it’s my favorite gym. The staff is incredible here: Tom, Brian and Melinda make you feel welcome. I paired up with a personal trainer (Frank) who listens attentively to my goals and is flexible. There’s ample parking and the perks include: sauna, pool and fitness classes.

Your cleaning guy is impeccable and pays attention to even the small details of the machines. Your team is always outgoing and friendly and helpful. The trainers I've talked with or done a session with are extremely knowledgeable. It never smells bad like an old gym. If you guys have a machine broken you get it fixed. You have a good variety of equipment and machines. And when I used to do the classes I really love the classes and the instructors. The locker rooms are impeccably neat and clean and I've used the showers before I didn't feel grossed out. Even using the pool back when I was doing therapy. Just so clean and well taken care of.

I love NYSC DF .. almost every time, I get on the machines that I want right away.. the other members are very friendly, as well as the associates and the trainers! .. It's a nice space to work out .. plus the pool, basketball court and sauna are great! They have fun workout classes & the room is accessible to workout in when no classes are in progress! .. it's also really close to home, which is a plus! : )

Decent gym, however the lockers are in desperate need of insect fumigation! Every time I put my clothes or jacket in there and put them back on after a workout I'm scratching from head to toe within a few minutes. There's some type of body lice or mites in those lockers that definitely need to be removed ASAP.

Really bad business practices. Signed up for what I was told is a 3 month personal training package with a wonderful trainer at NYSC - Dobbs Ferry Location. Month number 4, my credit card is billed again for $680. NO ONE explained that this is an ongoing charge and that you have to provide a 30-day advance cancellation notice. Why ask about cancellation when I thought I was signing up for a 3 month package. Fully explained to management who refuses to refund my money. Got online to see if I could find the headquarters information and finding that this is regular shady business practices... that continues. The NYS Attorney General appears to have started to pursue action against them... and I suppose them having filed bankruptcy is supposed to shield them from having taken membership fees during covid when the gyms closed and people had no way to cancel memberships. Continues. Gesh.

Still a great gym but the drive thru Starbucks downstairs makes it a headache to find parking. Entire side is empty.

Believe what you read here, it’s small, dirty, old/broken equipment, and crowded. The basketball court is rented. They have very limited equipment and all the “popular” ones are never open. 0/10.

Disgusting customer service when dealing with cancellations.

An employee that worked here told me in-person that he would start a two-month membership and cancel it at the end for me. I found out months later that he never did. I reached out to management, but they were not only supporting this scam - they were also stubborn about it. I lost hundreds of dollars because of this that I will never get back. It's really disappointing that the response to this review is covering my whole side of the story. I hope this situation can be solved.
