I have been coming to New Image for cuts for four years and I have had nothing but an amazing experience each time. All of the barbers are professional and skillful with their craft. The owner is very down to earth individual that brings joy and light to the atmosphere. The camaraderie they share is unmatched and it shows through their customer service. Also, It is very easy to schedule appointments or walk in. I have scoured the city of Blacksburg/Christiansburg and nothing has come close to the quality of New Image Barbers.

Been coming here for sometime and it’s always been a great experience. Really have high expectations for my haircuts and every-time I visit they’re always exceeded. Definitely the best barbers in Blacksburg. Would 100% recommend.

A professional barbershop. Some of you may remember what that’s like. A place you can go, talk about what’s going on, and come out looking great. My teen boys love going and talking nfl. Plus, they get stylish cuts that they want to keep looking good. Highly recommended.

If you have 1- a special needs child or 2 - any child at all, DO NOT I can't reiterate this enough DO NOT take them there. The short barber is unprofessional and extremely disrespectful not only to myself but to my 6 yr old son. A child y'all, he disrespected my son. I took my son out before the haircut started due to the level of disrespect. They had 4 other clients in at that time and another employee...seemingly this is acceptable behavior for him. Also from other reviews this is his standard level of disrespect.

If you google for Barbershops in Blacksburg, you will get suggestions for barbers with no less then 4.0 rating, except for this one. There are several serious reasons why this place cannot even manage to get a 3.5 rating. The haircut they give is arguably not bad, but the barbers work here are very rude and arrogant. I have seen them being disrespectful to the customers and talking about people behind them. You can even get a little idea of their rudeness just by reading their comments on the reviews here. They feel they are the best barbers in the town, and so think it doesn't matter how they behave towards the customers. However, that's not the case. I don't recommend this place at all.

Really great service! I had no idea how the haircut would turn out when it started but I completely loved how it turned out and I have had lots of compliments. First time getting a haircut in Blacksburg and this is my permanent barbershop from here on. Oh! I should add they take Covid protocols seriously, as it should be.

This is a NO GO EVEN FOR BLACK PEOPLE. Jesus christ, it's insane how many unprofessional complaints those guys recieved and they didn't change anything!! They are extremely rude and disrespected me twice. By the way, the cut was terrible!!! But what I most hated was how they treat me. Also, 25 DOLLARS THE CUT!!!! JESUS, this was the worst haircut experience IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

There doesn't seem to be many people in this town that can make an asian look the way they want without much instruction. Most of the people that can, however, seem to be located in this barbershop. After a first pass at my cut, Alante checked in by assuring me that any adjustments that I wanted, he'd make, and he came through! I'm very satisfied with my experience. They've integrated rigorous COVID precautions without sacrificing the relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Give them a shot; if you work with them, they'll work with you!
