This was my first time going there it was my cousin Tori who recommended me to go there. It was not full I was seated right away the nail tech Kerri who did my pedicure and full set acrylic nail was amazing im usually very picky when it comes to my nails, but I couldn't find a fault with my nails it was perfectly done. Since I move to NY this was the first time a was please and very happy about my nails. Thanks Kerri????????
They have a great variety of colors, John is amazing with the nail design and shaping. They are usually on time to attend me when I schedule my appointments. The place could use better maintenance but you cannot beat the price and quality, especially with you are on a budget.
I've been to several fancy nail places that charges double of the price for a mediocre service.
Ask for Kelly! She was amazing. She took her time to give me the exact nails I wanted and I'm in love with them.
Let me just say I took some time to really think about doing this review. And the potential impact this may have on the nail salon. For starters the women who took care of me were sweet, friendly and quick. However the one who did my nails wasn’t nearly qualified to be working with acrylic. I went a few times just to allow her to try better on her next try. But it seemed like there was always something wrong. Like the nail polish would be wayyy to thin that you can see blotches. The acrylic gel/powder stuff wouldn’t be flat in at all. And the worse part is that they used the MMA acrylic powder on me. How do I know this? When you take it off (basically soak off) it should NOT be a sticky mess. It also had a fishy odor during removal. MMA can cause permanent damage and loss of the natural nail. I found out it was MMA from a different nail tech at a different salon. And found out more about it with a simple google searc I don’t think I’d ever go back here nor ever recommend this place until they can guarantee the proper acrylic powder will be used.
I keep trying to give them a chance to redeem themselves but they always fail. I stopped going there when they messed up my nails years ago. I went back to get my eyebrows done. I gave the lady specify directions.. She did what she wanted. Stopped for another year. Went there yesterday for a pedicure (never again). The men don't speak and the lady rushed me out the chair so she could take other customers (which had left). Was hitting my feet to switch. Do not waste your money here. Poor customer service even worse work. I would not recommend
Don’t come to this place I gotten acrylics done and it’s been less then a week and my nails are starting to shift up they didn’t clean my cuticles file my nail or clip them they jus put the acrylic on without doing any of that my nails are starting to lose color and it’s already breaking tbh I should be getting a refund this was all $40 And trust me this was not worth it. They always tend to have attitude when saying they aren’t doing something right and the audacity to want to charge more be fair with ur prices .
I went to this place twice. The first time for mani and pedi - She did a good job my nails looked really nice for the mani. My pedi was okay ... nothing special. She also worked very very quickly and I can appreciate that if you are in a rush but it was too quick for me. I did not wait that long after I arrived. The place is not very clean. Very dusty, carpet is very old, all the furniture look's old and ripped up. When I went back for the second time I was only able to do my mani because when I arrived she said 15 mins and I waited almost an hr before anyone even started on me. It was still very dirty, not clean, very dusty.Two women were very angry about their services while I was there. They were complaining also about the place being dirty. I did like how my gel mani came out. If the place was just a little cleaner or organized and less waiting time I would come back.
This was my first visit. I arrived at 9:30am (opening time) no one was there to start my service. The lady who started my nails was very pleasant and fast, however, she was not experienced in doing a fill in with gel. She then proceeded to do the pedicure (which was excellent) and the gentleman (John) began my nails right away while I continued with my pedicure. A woman watching television on an ipad very loud and in a language other than English I noticed right away and brought it to the woman's attention that it was quite rude and again this is my first visit so I am trying to feel the atmosphere in the establishment. Upon finishing, I was moved to his station and now I am sitting next to the woman with the loud noise. I asked the gentleman if we could possibly watch tv (located in the shop). He replied, "The tv is broken". Then I asked the lady if she could turn her ipad down. She replied "No and proceeded to make it louder". I immediately grabbed all my belongings and left the establishment. They followed me because I had not as of yet paid for my completed pedicure. The lady who did the pedicure asked me politely to come back in and please pay for my pedicure. I agreed and the man continued with my gel fill in and the woman turned off the noisy ipad. One of the employees decided she needed to join in to argue with me. She was absolutely WRONG!! She did not hear what actually happened and continued to be involved. I was livid, especially since I am the customer. I believe the woman who refused to lower the volume was also the owner. My belief is she should not be allowed to own a business in a majority Black community and force her customers to cater to her cultural entertainment in the business place. This is my first and last time to visit this nail salon. I must mention if this did not happen they would have made a new customer for a long time. The work was good. Customer service was HORRIBLE.
