My first tell on Barbershops is if I don't know the Barbers & they don't know me am I made to feel out of place? Or... is it a boys club where if they don't know you, & everyone of their friends shows up, then precedes to cut you in line bc they had an "appointment." When you then make an appointment 3 different times & they cancel on you everytime? Sorry MLB in Fhvn thats you guys.

New Bedford Co's atmosphere was laid back with great people who were welcoming to a first time client. It felt like a barbershop should im my opinion. Every customer walked out with an amazing cut, but you could see they were made to feel as if they belonged. Book an appointment w/ any barber there & you'll be happy you did! #1 reason customers don't come back, they felt unwelcome & uncomfortable, #2 is a bad haircut. I finally found somewhere I will happily spend my money. I will be back 100%

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, never have I been to a barber who has treated me so well. Every other place I've been was a quick cut and "beat it, get out" attitude. But not here! They were VERY involved and absolutely LOVE what they do, taking a huge interest to make you beyond satisfied. Very friendly, happy professional environment. I will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend New Bedford Barber Co.

Very cool vibe in the shop. Nice artwork with a focus on local. Excellent and friendly barbers. Very happy with my haircut. They seem busy. I was lucky to get in as a walk in but I would recommend an appointment. Cash only

New Bedford Barber Co. is awesome. The crew there know what they're doing, they treat you right, laugh with you, and put lots of attention to the details of your cut. The atmosphere is welcoming with a cool reclaimed nautical theme, not your boring same old sterile barber shop at all. Prices are reasonable, just a heads up, they are cash only. Be sure to ask for Xavier, he's the man!
