We had a couple of meals and they were delicious and served super quick. The mug of tea were just what I needed after a rainy morning in Wakefield!! We will definitely be back!

The food is okay not a great deal of choice in wakefield, food is handled with bare hands which is a little bit off putting and the bloke that runs it isnt all that friendly, the ladies are always polite and friendly , the price doesnt reflect the food quality i have had better for less , that been said the place okay , not great not terrible.

Not the best food for the price, chips tasted horrible and the fish tasted very bland. Although the waitress had great service skills, couldn’t say the same for the manager, he wasn’t friendly in the slightest.

Order off just eat not long ago and received multiplies hairs in a sausage sandwich, in the bread too I pulled out at least 4 hairs. Like what the hell, surely not hygienic at all haven’t ordered from here since. Used to get it everyday but then found all them hairs, wish I checked my other sandwiches for them too.

Nice brew. Pot for 2 got 4 cups out of it. Lovely. Straight up no fuss food and friendly staff.

I Have been coming to Neptune diner since I was a little boy ! And it’s as good today as I always remembered! On entering the diner you are greeted by the very attentive staff behind the counter, the atmosphere is friendly, warm and very welcoming ! I chose to have the 5 piece breakfast which was cooked to perfection and served quick and hot. The prices are very reasonable and the dining room was comfortable and clean. My only gripe would be the lack of hash brown on my delicious breakfast ! That would have turned my review into a five star PLUS ! Fantastic guys keep up the good work !!

I have tried different items on each visit, and I am consistently impressed.

Breakfast, fish and chips, delicious fresh pies, chips, mash, vegetables and gravy. Trifles, hot drinks and cold drinks. I have tried and enjoyed them all here.

The staff are efficient and friendly. The restaurant is lovely and clean.

Called into this cafe,we are not local Sunday lunch was spot on so Called in Monday morning for breakfast before travelling back home enjoyed both meals, will call again on our next visit...
