I always come here when my normal lady isn’t available and it’s always just sub par. The lady who did my nails today piled SO many layers of this nail polish on that it’s SO uneven and STILL NOT DRY and it’s been hours since I left. I ended up taking off the polish on the right big toe and purchasing the matching polish myself and redoing my big toe. Unless you have specific lady you like, I wouldn’t just randomly go in. They are so kind there, but not worth $40 :/
I am using my boyfriends account to write this as I usually do not write reviews. I came in to get a fill on my nails, I came in around 5:15 and was told it would be a 30-45 min wait. I was fine with this and waited, when it was my turn I sit down they start to close up which I understand as they were not busy at all and it was raining. The woman who was doing my fill was then rushing to leave. I walked out with the tips of my nails crooked and not fully painted in some areas as well as the jewels on my nails also crooked. I felt rushed as she was the only one left in the salon, other than the woman waiting with her to leave. After the rushed service it did not feel like there was any reason to complain at this point. If you looked at the nails from far away they looked okay and honestly I am not that picky and didn’t feel the need to make a big deal. The problem I have is 2 days later one of my nails fell off, 2 days after that another nail fell off. It has been a little over a week and I am now missing 3 nails. Mind you my nails normally easily last me 3 weeks. I will not be coming back here, I was extremely disappointed in my fill. I will give 2 stars as everyone here was extremely kind unfortunately the services are just not on point.
The people were nice enough and the pedi was good. The full set mani was not. I told the gentleman technician applying the full set that they were too long. He said he was making them even. He handled my hands in a very rough manner, pintching me with his thumb nail several times when filing, shaping and painting. When he was done, they were still too long, way to wide (think duck bill widening to the end) and the simple french polish had the white tip finishing far to short from the end of my finger leaving a strange shadow. Should I have said something then, yes, but they were closing, and I was tired and just wanted to go home. The last thing I wanted was to have him pintching me any more. I also should have said something when I was charged extra for them being "extra long".
As soon as I got home, I filed them shorter, filed away the duck bill flare and painted them to cover up the bad french.
Will I give them another try? Yes, for a pedi. Maybe for a full set or fill, just not with the same technician.
I found this salon about 2 weeks ago. I went to just get a full set and I don't remember the name of the girl who did my nails, but she did great! I went back today to get a fill in and had the pleasure of meeting Tina. I had my old clear set on, and asked for a fill but I wanted ombre so I asked if it was possible. Tina did phenomenal on my new set! I've been to plenty of salons in lakeland, and this is by far the best! Of course you can't always please everyone, but I will definitely be a reoccurring customer! Thank you Tina for your patience and creativity in giving me what I wanted even without having to do a new set!
Great people , Very busy and they do a great job. Definitely will return and Recommend them to everyone . Make an appointment it is the smartest thing to do. My daughter and her friend both had their nails done for Homecoming.
I got my nails done on Friday. It was a nice place. I was happy with the place and the service, only the guy cut me like 3 times and here it is 3 days later and I'm still hurting. I don't think I'll be returning though. The last photo is of how my finger looks today. :(
I’ve been bringing my daughter here and I’ve been getting my Pedicures here for about 3 years off and on. This family of people are really great people and have a great staff that offer the best service you could ever ask for! Never had a bad experience and I will continue to visit them.
Very nice, chic atmosphere.. Tom is the best....I recommend him.
