Quite busy lively place with friendly staff. Short wait for food but well worth the wait.

One downside is they only take cash but there is a free cash machine in a local store fifty yards down the road.

Excellent fish and chips and pea fritter! I always place order over the phone and the staff was very friendly and polite. The sausage rolls are nice too! I don’t mind driving 5 miles from home to visit this chippy every week !

Very tasty haddock, not at all greasy. Reasonably priced.

Simply the best!! We had fish, chips and mushy peas for lunch today and I think it was the best fish and chips we've had for a long time. The fish was moist and tasty with crispy batter, the chips were deliciously crispy and even the mushy peas had a subtle minty flavour. Generous portion size.

Ignore any negative reviews (they're probably from jealous competitors ????)

The fish and chips I had from this chippy is way better than those from the seaside. Price is reasonable! Batter is crispy and chips are fresh! So far this is the best I found in the surrounding area!
