I work with Ryan M. in Durham. He highly recommended this place. Says he worked her in highschool. Told me if I was in the area I should get one of the hamburgers.

I did, it was amazing. If you're in the New Bern area you need to stop in here and get a hamburger/cheeseburger and fries you will not be disappointed. After I left, Ryan told me to get it topped with shrimp sounds like a good combo to me. Next time for sure.

Oh, and the little grocery store has just about everything. Great Little Country Store.

This is the best place! You can stop at the store and get a little gas, drinks, and you can even get breakfast or lunch. They have almost anything you might need here including fishing gear and bait. The bathrooms are very clean. The grill is awesome. The boat launch is nice also, with plenty of parking.

Stock up for your trip down the Neuse or Trent Rivers. Free boat parking at the fuel dock. Store has everything from bait and tackle to lottery tickets. Grill is Great. Local favorite. The Merchant family has been here forever.

Not the same store since original owners left, unprofessional female cashier, rude and follow mouth.

Awesome burgers and fries! And they have just about anything you can think of - from shotgun ammo to wine. Staff is great too.

Great store. It has a lot of good things. Convienence store. Grill. Fishing and hunting licenses. Bait. Boat ramp. Gas. Lottery. The cheeseburgers are delicious. The cheese fries are also very good and you get a whole basket full. Great local place that has stood the test of time and only gotten better over the years.

We used to love coming here on the weekends for a quick and delicious bite. Unfortunately., The service in the kitchen changed staff and it is lacking. They are not friendly, and our ord we e is typically cold. I've gotten to the point where I specify I'd like my food hot and it still comes out cold.

This is a Family run store, with lots of fishing and boating supplies, along with ethanol free gas, and All kinds of snacks and small groceries, but the Best is their Snack bar, but understand, these are homemade type burgers, and Are the Best. And before that, there's the breakfast they serve, go by hungry, but expect a line...it's great
