I was anticipating getting my nails done here bcuz I went to another salon and was disappointed. Waited a while and was signaled to sit in a vacant chair. The Nailtech was friendly BUT… the end result was horrendous! Mind u, I’m Jamaican so I know when my nails are on point. The polish was not smooth, they are broader than my actual nails, they’re all out of shape and it was EXPENSIVE! Not to mention the polish started stripping the same day!
I’ve seen several persons who got their nails done here and they’re nice so I don’t know what’s up with mine
$72 for a basic pedicure. No tips. Acrylic powder on nails. Go to Diva nails in Latham for great work and reasonable prices. Straight up absurd. I paid the same on Long Island with tips.
Tan is a nail GOD!!! Young and sexy , fun to chat with while doing nails.. His skills are amazing.. Took me a long time to find someone that was good and i trusted. he is the only one i will allow free range to do anything he wants to.. Now he does all my friends nails too..

I tried a few ppl before, Patricia i didn't have the best experience with,was on phone (took 4 hrs on my nails and feet ) and my nail edges had acrylic all over the skin.. I went back next day and Melissa took care of it asap. She seemed very concerned i was back and fixed all at no charge.. I did tip tan for fixing them perfectly and used him ever since..
The lady that sat next to patricia in chair 2 left edges same way too.. (Think her chair spot moved after remodeling the store)
Melissa is an amazing owner that cares about her clients happiness.. The remodel of salon came out really nice too..
Ask for “Vi” beyond talented, will post pix upon next gel fill. First visit was a gift for being part of a wedding party.
This is the most horrendous nail experience I’ve had. I just got home and I am taking them off. They look nothing like what I asked for. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
I've been going to Melissa's for around 5 years, and generally had a great experience...but this week I was handed over to a random man in the shop. $50 for a French ombre, and two days later they're breaking off. You no longer can make appointments so you wait, or get whomever now. ????

Great experience there since I've been going back.. I schedule my appointments and i'm in and out.... Tan is the man, he does amazing work, have a creative mind, and keeps thr conversation going... Moon is awesome as well, I go to her everytime when I need my eyebrows done...
