This park is connected to the Honey Dew Park . It was confusing for our group when we got to the dead-end of the May Creek Park but did not know that we could enter the Honey Dew Park. However, all the trails are beautiful, signs are clear, the public environment is clean, neat but people often do not leash their dogs which may cause dangers to other trailers. I love how I can immerse myself into the beautiful nature while listening to the birds' sound, sound of the running water. I felt refreshed, comfortable and relaxed after finishing the May Creek Trail. In general, I highly recommend people visit this park when they need some down-time
This is a beautiful park with many loosely connected trails. The trails generally follow May Creek and Honey Creek. It is mostly stone and pack soil surface but also reclaimed roads. There are many wooden bridges and great views of the creeks. Not really much in the way of official parking (neighborhood pullouts that fit 2 or 3 cars). There are no facilities and minimal signage.
This park is connected to another park . Its confusing to get to as the entrances lead to dead ends with no signs that say that theres a park here. But the trail was beautiful! The little stream running alongside the trail really made the place feel special. Will have to say, if you bring your dog, do be aware other hikers have their dogs of leash.
Low grade incline. Nice wide paved path. Beautiful trees
We went for first time from Edmonds Street, it was quite and beautiful, you can hear creek, birds... My dog enjoys it very much
I heard about the 1956 Dodge van that had been dumped along the May Creek trail decades ago. It's actually pretty easy to find...if you start at the right trailhead! I hiked for over an hour searching for it, because I started from the 93rd St. trailhead. The old U.S.Mail delivery vehicle is near the trailhead on SE May Creek Park Drive, across from the Buddhist temple.
My husband and I love this place. Full of all kinds of different birds and offers a nice walk in nature close to home.
Nice short quiet hike. We saw more dogs being walked than people. We will do it again. Fun seeing the little wildlife
