I'm not generally a review writer, in fact this is my first ever, but I simply couldn't not. I had been growing my hair for over a year but decided it was time for a trim - decided to try out Mario's after reading so many good reviews and I was not disappointed. Not only did he give me an amazing cut that has restored my confidence, but it was unbelievably well priced at £12 - it was even more impressive given that I have curly hair which can be hard to handle. Given that the atmosphere was also really friendly, I really couldn't recommend this place enough! Will definitely be returning :)
My wife said I looked “amazing” after this haircut. I went in looking like Steve Buscemi and came out looking like Chris Hemsworth (sorry Steve.) It’s genuinely likely to be the best haircut I’ve ever had, and at about a third of the price I pay back in Australia. Mario is also the nicest bloke you’ll meet in London. The nicest in England? Probably. The nicest in the UK? Definitely.
Amazing customer service. Had a poor haircut at another barber’s earlier that afternoon and they saved the day, and my hair! They refused to accept payment despite doing a great job. Also really friendly atmosphere in the shop. I will be back to Mario’s 100%

Dropped in today for the first time, staff were really friendly and Mario himself did a great job on my hair. He listened to me at the start which ultimately ended with me being happy at the end and I got the results I wanted. I cannot say I have gotten the same experience in other barbers in the locality. Very friendly, comfortable environment.
Have been coming here since Feb 2019 (when I moved to London). Love the atmosphere, professional courtesy and attention to detail. Mario is very attentive and always great for a chat. Have tried a couple of different hairstyles and they’ve all worked out great. It’s walk in only (+cash only) so sometimes you have to wait, but pick your time and you’ll be fine - always well worth it! Feels like a proper community atmosphere, and I get a much better cut than more expensive options in London.
I've been getting my hair cut at Mario's for almost my whole life. Incredible hair cuts every time and the atmosphere inside is always friendly. Come and try it out if you haven't yet, you won't be disappointed!
I've lived in this area for 3 years and only just discovered Mario's shop. I can honestly say it is the best barbers around. The staff are friendly and professional and more importantly, the quality of hair cuts is excellent. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be going back.
