Mares is the best auto mechanic shop around. We always take all of our cars there. My daughters car belt pulley broke and it punctured the radiator. They fixed it at a great price. Unknown to us the tire had a nail in it, they just fixed it without even making a deal about it. Thanks for keeping my daughters vehicle safe.

I stopped by to get air in my tire! Not only did the guy (David I think) check ALL my tire pressures he wouldn’t accept $$. He was just friendly and customer oriented! Which is almost non existent these days!! Thanks guys!!

I’ve had my vehicles serviced here for years. I recently had another service, super friendly! We haven’t had a problem yet they couldn’t tackle! I wouldn’t have anyone else service my cars. Great local business,honest quality service! David is the best!

After reading the reviews on Mares I decided to take them my Honda for a driver side window regulator replacement. After the first part was installed I noticed the window was not going up correctly in the track causing an open space on the rear of the window. Then the window just stopped working. I took the car back for the second time and another regulator was needed and ordered and installed. Again I could tell right from the start the window was not going up correctly in the track. We talked about getting new tracks but that was never confirmed as the problem. I picked the car up for the second time and immediately saw the top right corner was out of the track. It was obvious that’s the window was dropping down on the front causing the rear to come out of the track and leave an open space at the top. I had to get the window fixed correctly and obviously didn’t trust Mares to go at it a third time so I decided to try B&E Auto Paint and Collision in Brighton. Brandon was awesome and immediately saw the window was mis aligned in the track and he had it fixed in thirty minutes. With a few simple adjustment the window goes up and down perfectly. I mailed to Mares the $52 bill and asked that they reimburse me for the cost I paid to have the window correctly adjusted in the tract. I haven’t heard anything from them. I feel they took my car out of service for several days and never fixed the window correctly. I don’t think asking for the $52 was out of line considering I had already paid Mares over $300 for a window they never 100% fixed. I would think twice before going to this shop unless you are looking for a simple oil change.

We had such a great experience here with Daniel. He went out of his way to ensure our tire issue was fixed the best possible way. We tried to have our tire patched but it was too damaged, he ordered a tire and had it the next morning. Quick repair and good price.

Mares Auto is a great place to take your vehicle to get fixed! David and Eric are always very friendly and get the job done very quickly! I would highly recommend taking your vehicle in to them to get it fixed. I have nothing but positive things to say about them and the shop!!!!!
