Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Visited for the first time as it has a good customer rating and was full at the time we walked past. We ordered a bowl and soup and toastie. 30 minutes after ordering we still had not been served, on enquiring, we were told it would be another 30 minutes! An hour for soup and a toastie is ridiculous, so we cancelled and left. I can't comment on the quality of the food, but the tables on either side of us had already been waiting for an hour and still not been served with their meals. I have to assume they were having a bad day in the kitchen as I can believe the place could be so highly rated if this is typical of the service.
Update......after a quick and courteous apology we will be giving it another try next month
Very disappointed, sadly
We have eaten at this establishment many times over the last year, we love the food, atmosphere and staff are very friendly but on Friday this week we popped in for lunch but a 3/4 of an hour wait for Welsh Rabbit (hope spelt right) was not acceptable. We had to leave hungry as we had an appointment to go to later on that afternoon and did not want to have to rush eating if the meal did eventually arrive. Also, our tea cups were not properly clean, we had them changed but mine was replaced by another dirty cup!
I have to stress, though we were very disappointed with the lack of our meals, the staff member serving us was polite, friendly and very apologetic and we are sure the food, had it arrived, would have been delicious but the wait was not acceptable.
Does the kitchen need extra staff member to help because reading other reviews our experience this week seems to be the same as others?
Nice find in a quiet town. Pleasant and bright for a spot of lunch. Some nice brunch options with breakfast items available until 3pm. Shakshuka a tasty treat and the cake delicious too. Good cappuccino to go with. Very relaxed, dog friendly and staff very helpful.
Usually very happy with coffee an cake but today decided to have breakfast. Ordered coffee, breakfast and cake. And sat and waited, and waited and waited. When I ask if our order would be out soon as the couple next to us had come in after us and had their food. I was told there was a back log. So waited a bit longer. Then more food came out for people who had come in well after us. So asked again , to be told they had run out of muffins and that someone was to get some. But people who had ordered after us had muffins. Gave up and left 45 minutes after arrived. Just be honest folks. You lost our order. Could have offered us a free coffee while we waited for our order to be done and would have been happy. I work in retail that has a café. If someone had just let us know what was going on instead of letting us sit there. It was only when we had asked twice for our food that this issue arose. When I challenged the fact I was told they only just realised.
It's always the drinks that are the main problem. This time they served my husband with a cup of very weak Americano, so he asked for a French Press instead. The cream they served with it was the wrong kind to put in coffee, too thick, so it was separated in blobs on the surface. When we pointed this out, the waiter called the Manageress who asked us what kind of cream we put in our coffee; we usually put standard double cream. She told us that they use an even thicker cream and it was only bought that morning. No apology, bad attitude.
They got my order for Peppermint tea wrong and gave me Green tea. When I pointed this out, the manageress told me they are next to each other in the drawer. No apologies. We later realised were overcharged.
They have Turmeric Latte on their menu. I have only managed to have it once since they added it. I said to our waitress the last time I asked, in a friendly way, "You haven't had it for a year, how about taking it off the menu?" She did not apologise, but justified that they couldn't get it. I told her where it could be found.
Dogs can also be a nuisance there, barking for example.
Absolutely fabulous little find in Market Rasen !
Had a wonderful breakfast, service was great I will definitely be returning back.
Looking forward to the dinner and entertainment evening booked in a few weeks !
Amazing staff and service. Only nipped in for a coffee but had a wonderful breakfast, too, as it all sounded so nice. I will definitely be back again as we were made to feel so welcome and comfortable. Really pleased with this gem ????
This is our favorite cafe in Lincolnshire. We travel half an hour to go here. Most cafes do full English or variations of (nothing wrong with that) This place cooks some amazing food. Green eggs and ham, Eggs Shakshuka are a couple of my favorites, well worth a visit, it's always fairly busy, the staff are amazing and it's beautifully decorated.

Quick Facts About March Hare Kitchen & Deli

March Hare Kitchen & Deli is a restaurant with mixed reviews. While some customers praise its food, atmosphere, and friendly staff, others have expressed disappointment in the long wait times and lack of cleanliness. These comments can be used to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
One of the strengths of March Hare Kitchen & Deli is its good customer rating. The first commenter mentioned that they visited based on the positive reviews. This suggests that the restaurant has a good reputation among its customers, which may attract new customers and contribute to its success.
Additionally, the commenter mentioned that the staff member serving them was polite, friendly, and apologetic. This indicates that the staff at March Hare Kitchen & Deli are customer-oriented and strive to provide good service. Friendliness and politeness can enhance the overall dining experience for customers and encourage them to return.
The restaurant is also described as pleasant and bright, creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. The presence of natural light and a comfortable environment can contribute to a positive dining experience.
Furthermore, March Hare Kitchen & Deli is described as dog-friendly. This can be seen as a strength for pet owners who want to enjoy a meal with their furry friends. Being accommodating to customers with pets can attract a specific target market and set the restaurant apart from others in the area.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses highlighted by the comments. The main weakness is the long wait times mentioned by multiple customers. One commenter mentioned waiting for 30 minutes and being told it would be another 30 minutes before their food was served. Another commenter waited for 45 minutes before deciding to leave. These experiences suggest that the restaurant may struggle with managing their orders and delivering food in a timely manner. Prolonged wait times can frustrate customers and lead to negative reviews, potentially damaging the restaurant's reputation.
Another weakness pointed out by a customer is the cleanliness of the tea cups. According to the comment, the cups were not properly cleaned, and even after replacement, one cup was still dirty. Cleanliness is a crucial aspect of any food establishment, and failure to meet proper hygiene standards can greatly impact the perception of the restaurant.
In addition, there were issues with the quality of drinks. One customer received a cup of weak Americano and had to request a replacement. The cream served with the French Press coffee was also described as the wrong kind and separated in blobs. Another customer received the wrong type of tea and was not given an apology when the mistake was pointed out. These incidents suggest a lack of attention to detail and quality control.
Furthermore, the lack of availability of certain items on the menu, such as the Turmeric Latte, was mentioned by a customer. This can be disappointing for customers who have specific preferences or dietary restrictions. Inconsistent availability of menu items can lead to customer dissatisfaction.
Lastly, the comment about dogs being a nuisance suggests that the presence of dogs in the restaurant may be disruptive to other customers. While being dog-friendly can be a strength for some customers, it can also be a weakness for those who are not comfortable with dogs or have allergies.
In conclusion, March Hare Kitchen & Deli has both strengths and weaknesses based on customer comments. The positive aspects include its good customer rating, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and dog-friendly policy. However, the weaknesses include long wait times, cleanliness issues, quality control problems with drinks, limited availability of menu items, and potential disruptions caused by dogs. Improvements in these areas can enhance the overall dining experience and contribute to the restaurant's success.
