$40 for the worst haircut I have ever received. The cut took over an hour to do. I asked to leave an inch on top and he left almost 3 inches. I was already annoyed it was taking so long and he was clearly incompetent so I decided to go somewhere else. Imagine my surprise when I asked the price and he told me $40! I only had a 50 and he only had a 5 in change so ended up paying $45!
Edit: they were willing to offer a full refund.
This place is terrible! First of all my father came in to get a haircut the other day wanting a small trim and they buzzed his head completely! My father was devastated when he came home, he also said this place is very nasty and unsanitary. The guy who was giving him a hot towel shaved used a towel with brown stains?!?! HELLO?!?! That is disgusting!! To top it all of I was on a tik tok live and i saw their tik tok account commenting on the live and the person who runs that account started arguing with a CHILD!! This is what he does for a living…. I am SO disappointed with this shop and their tik tok account.????
Great people, great shop. I go to James Shoemaker, he's traditional, and modern at the same time, but they've got all hair types covered there, and several other barbers. It's so good to see a diverse group of people there getting the cuts they want, in a great atmosphere. It feels like what I would call a modern barber shop. I'll be going back. Gotta respect barbers. Try ''em out.
I would highly recommend JD at the South location off of Douglas street. This gentleman is a perfectionist when it comes to cutting hair and he always goes above and beyond. His attention to detail is always above par and that's great. If you're looking for a consistent barber who's detail oriented and great customer service, then JD's your guy.
Showed up, 1220 on Sunday doors locked people inside no one answering phone call.

Very professional, clean barbershop. Ruben has cut my hair each time I've visited and has done a great job. Fade, beard trim and lineup look great each time. Fun atmosphere, have recommended to several people!
No doubt the nicest barbershop in the 316. Can't say enough about this Barber shop. Definition of professionalism and come out fresh every time. Mad love to Lux Crew and the way they conduct business. There's a reason why so many people are behind them and support this shop.
