The worst Chinese takeaway in Plymouth. Everything was so bland, the BBQ sauce tastes like hot water and god knows why it's pink. Avoid at all costs. Waste of money ????
I wish I'd listened to Jacob Warners review here. I completely agree! Just had a Chinese delivered and it's honestly the worst I've ever had! Everything was just so bland! The bbq sauce had no flavour except for some kind of sweet watery broth. I usually love the bbq sauce from a Chinese! The satay sauce was so sweet and gloopy and tastes very floral. Not nice at all. The chips had no many chilli flakes on ... I thought they would be salt and pepper chips with pieces of chilli like usual! The crispy beef was very dark and tasted burnt! Most of this went in the bin!
Worst Chinese I've ever had. Bland food, has no taste. Even had a hair in my crispy chilli beef. Don't use these through uber eats. Also rang them direct to sort the issue and they use the "I don't understand" excuse. Never again.
You can always tell that it's a proper Chinese restaurant if there are Chinese people eating there. This was a lovely authentic Chinese meal, very nice family run restaurant with huge portions of food at reasonable prices. Some of the food served may not be to Western taste but there are plenty of familiar dishes too. One portion of rice and one of noodles is enough for 4! So don't over order. You can take the leftovers away if you like. I would definitely eat here again.
Very small portion of chips, crispy chilli beef was far more chewy than “crispy” and tasted quite disgusting. Portion sizes and quality need to improve as it’s lacking behind massively from competitors.
Not even worth 1 star, Ordered salt and chilli chicken, crispy chilli beef and salt and chilli chips. My delivery turns up late, to then open the carrier and find the salt and chilli chicken missing, the chips were as bland as anything, there’s more taste in a bottle of water, to top my nightmare off I then find a hair in my crispy chilli beef! I certainly stopped eating the meal and lost my appetite
