Plan in advance, I was waiting for my son, who was at a youth club, and I decided to try out this establishment after a recommendation. I only had an hour spare and 40 minutes in a long queue. The food was excellent, and I can see why it is so popular and the long lines. Literally, when I arrived, people were queueing towards the pub. I have never seen anything like it, but it was worth the wait, and I ordered, ate my food and got back in time to pick my son up, next time if I'm short on time, I will make a telephone order to save time, if I have time id be happy to queue for quality food.
If you want freshly cooked to order fish and chips this is the place to go. The best fish and chips I have had in this area in a long time. The batter is perfectly crispy, not to greasy and fish perfectly cooked. The slice of lemon is a great touch. Chips were freshly cooked and hot even by the time we got home. Service was friendly and great. Overall the experience was perfect.
Took the family for some delicious take away. Fish was fresh, chips were hot and thoroughly enjoyed the battered sausage! Staff were friendly, polite with a good sense of humor. Parking can be tight, but food was delicious! Definitely worth the effort.
I've been going here for quite a few years . Fish and chips are fantastic , fish cooked while you wait. Only downside is that it can get very busy on a Friday evening.

Best fish n chips and kebabs. Queuing is worth the wait or call up before if you are in a rush. The fish has definitely got smaller the large doesn't look like a large!
Had haddock and chips from here. The staff are great always keeping you informed how long your food is going to take to cook. The food was delicious.
