I have been to my fair share of nail salons in my day & Lotus Nails is my favorite! I have only lived in the area for over a year and have tried 3 other salons in the Huntley/Algonquin area and was not impressed. I am so happy that I tried Lotus Nails and found this gem. Lily always does an amazing job, takes her time and listens to everything you want. She remembered my name after only 1 visit and is super kind, friendly and she is super accommodating with my 4 year old daughter who comes along with me. I have been getting lots of compliments on all of my no-chip manicures. I Highly recommend this family owned business. A+
Just a few doors down from Love Story Bridal I get my nails done by anyone of the nail techs and they are always so beautiful. Mike and Lily have such a great team. I always gets lots of compliments ???? thank you!!
Went in with my sister as she had dip polish and we tried to get it off at home. After we couldn’t get it off all the way, we went to the shop 40 min prior to close and were told they weren’t seeing anymore customers. All her nails needed was an electric file, it wouldn’t have taken more than 10 minutes and they refused. Tried going there a few times prior and never had a good experience. Just solidifies I’ll never go there again.
When I went there Lily was so nice and all the other workers are lovely.
They were so kind and professional. I was so impressed by how they were with my boyfriend’s little sister and appreciated how beautiful they made her feel. She literally left saying, “They made me feel like a queen.” That statement alone is enough for me to keep going back. Our nails look great too
First time here. Last minute apt.for a no chip manicure and pedicure. They were very gracious and attentive to my needs and requests. I will be back to this location!
Today was my first day trying the salon, I went in early and asked if they were able to get me in for a powder dip in manicure(which I never got.) I picked out a color and sat down with one of the technicians while I asked her to cut my nails down extremely low and I had to repeat myself several times before she actually did it. Then while filing my nails she filed into my skin and cut or should I say filed it down so bad that it made me bleed. But not only did she not tend to the bleeding skin she wanted to keep using the nail file that she kept using and got blood on it. This is after I told her to not do that because she's going to get blood on the file and continue to use it. My finger continued to bleed and was never tend to until I washed my hands. While she was filing my nails I kept having to tell her that they were uneven and to reshape them. She put the top coat on and I don't think they were under the gel light long enough she didn't check them and proceeded to put cuticle oil on them and continued to rub it in my nail while my nail was not dry. For the price of the nails and the experience that I had it is not worth it. Very disappointed!
WOW! Super impressed! Lisa did my nails 10/10! I’ve been to many salons over the years. From the moment I called then walked it... so helpful, personal, & fun! Family/hardworking vibes...I will for sure be back & tell all my gal pals.
