My buddy and I traverse the cuts, back alleys and off bear dive bars, greasy spoons, the occasional fine dining spot and service type businesses. So it is a wednesday evening and it is decided my Son needs a haircut and I remember this little barbershop near home on Douglas and they were still open so We headed over.
Los Panchos Barber shop is located in the strip mall on the east side of Douglas at River. They are between Five Star Market and Dominos behind the Shell station. Although parking wasn't an issue this evening, often this isn't the case, spaces are limited. It is fairly well lit but there are usually some sketchy types milling around so be aware.
These days I always take a businesses Covid-19 prptocals into account when writting a review and Los Pancho's did a great job. There were people ahead of us on the waiting list so they took my phone number and asked us to wait in our car. My Son's temperature was taken and they had no more than three customers in the shop at any time. They take Covid seriously and I applaud them for that. They were fast and efficient and with ten people ahead of us and only two stylists our wait was aproximatly thirty minutes. My Son's stylist Avalid did a wonderful job and we were both happy with the cut.
Too expensive for a haircut $25. This place used to be the best barbershop when they first started free drinks and great service also reasonable prices. Hope they go back to there old ways. Best wishes to you
I have been coming to this barber shop for over 7 years. Everything use to go so well. Great barbers, great service and great haircuts. But the quality has significantly dropped off. You can ask for the same haircut from each barber and get a completely different cut from each barber... There is no consistency. It's a hassle to constantly go back to have them fix their mistakes. When you try to question your cut, to some barbers, they try really hard to convince you your cut is fine even though it not. They're fading skills is really sub par. The only good barber left is the owner. If you do come to this place, try to get the guy with the glasses, he's the last good barber there. I sadly have find a new barber shop.
We just moved to the area and had been coming to this barber shop for it's proximity to our home. Yesterday, my husband took in my son's for a haircut. He was approached by an employee named Francisco. Francisco asked my husband if the boys cry when they get a haircut. My husband replied, "sometimes." Francisco then said in a rude tone, "oh, no I can't do it." When my boys got home, I called this shop. A man answered me and I asked for the name of the employee who DENIED us SERVICE. He didn't answer my question and played dumb by saying "there are no boys here right now." Again, I asked for his name, but he didn't give me his name and he HUNG UP the phone on ME. He had the nerve to HANG UP on a customer!! That was EXTREMELY RUDE!! To make matters worse, the next day, I spoke to the owner of the business and he said, "I already spoke to your husband. I am DONE with YOU GUYS!" I have never experienced anything like this before. This business doesn't care about their customers. This business thrives on customers, shame on them for treating their customers HORRIBLY!! DON'T come HERE, GO somewhere ELSE, somewhere that is going to treat with respect.
I've been coming here for years but as time passes their quality for their customers has dropped and it's embarrassingly noticeable.
It's frustrating dealing with their hours because they're not congruent with the ones posted on the front door, it's never consistent.
The owner which I believe is the one closest to the the door (a young man) cant hold a conversation without getting agitated or defensive with customers from a simple question being asked as I witnessed him throwing a fit.
Generally very busy shop unless you go in during school hours, Sunday afternoon or early morning time. There's a older gentleman that runs this store who is very rude and abrasive with people especially who he doesn't want to cut their hair. I went there once waited over 30 mins and I was getting both my kids haircut he took the gentleman afterus skipped my children multiple times because he didn't want to service my son. He picks and chooses who he caters to. Generally the women who cut there give wonderful haircut's.
Ok, so its not Super Cuts customer service but you're in and out. I have been taking my son for fades and hair trims here for about 2 years and have no complaints. FYI Weekdays are WAY less busier than weekends.
Asked for the back to be faded a little higher after the cut. Was told I would be charged for a 2nd haircut… I tip them all well on a weekly basis. Y’all lost a customer and keep up the piss poor attitudes you’ll keep losing more.
