Wir sind hier auf der Durchreise. Haben das Hotel über Hoteltonight gebucht.
Das Zimmer ist sauber. Die Parkplätze vor dem Haus sind angenehm. Personal freundlich, und das Frühstück für einen Nachtpreis von 90 Euro in Ordnung. Heisse Getränke 24/7. Poolbereich muss ich noch erkunden ;-)
Für über $160,00 völlig unakzeptabel: Kleines Zimmer und nur EIN schmales Queen-Bett für zwei Personen. Die Fenster waren sehr dreckig und der Ausstattungsstil schrie "Welcome to the 80s!".
Willkommen fühlte man sich nicht: Der (schmale, dunkelhaarige) Deskman hatte nicht mal ein "bye", "thanks" oder "Have a nice day" auf Lager. Als wir das Zimmer umgehend tauschten, da das Nichtraucherzimmer nach Zigaretten stank, ging der Tausch von seiner Seite ohne Worte vonstatten. Ein "sorry" gab's folgerichtig auch nicht.
Der Frühstücksraum ist für das große Hotel viel zu klein, das Angebot okay, wenn auch nichts Besonderes. Der Pool ist nicht groß, aber sauber. Die Gegend direkt neben dem kaum benutzten Lompoc Airport ist unattraktiv, zumal es in Lompoc viele schöne Straßen mit Hotels gibt.
For over $160,00 absolutely not recommendable: Small room, just one queen bed for two people. Windows are in desperate need to be cleaned and the interior style shouts "Welcome to the 80s!"
Welcome we did not feel: The front desk guy (the lean and dark-haired one) wasn't too communicative: No "bye", "thank you" or "Have a nice day", just the very bare necessities. When we immediately changed the room because the non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes, the change was totally wordless on his side. Not even a "sorry" belonged to his vocabulary.
The breakfast room is way too small for such a big hotel, otherwise breakfast was okay, though nothing special. The pool wasn't big but clean.
There are many nice streets with hotels in Lompoc - this was not one of them and located directly next to the Airport on the outskirts of Lompoc. The only positive thing in this area is a big supermarket right across the hotel.
