Came to Lahori Gate all the way from Newcastle after reading reviews. Very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Service was very friendly and the food was brilliant. Really please to have chosen this restaurant and will definitely come again when I am in Bradford. Have been recommended to try the mix grill starter and lamb karahi on the bone next time so will need to come back for this. Recommend to visit.
Went today after a while and had booked for my little cousins birthday party.
Decor and location is really good and comfortable surroundings and staff are friendly.
The lamb karahi and naan and tandoor roti was nice and tasty but was cold and not much masala but it was nice.
The starters were all piping hot and delicious.
Very poor in terms of what was available on the menu and what wasn’t, also baring in mind having a small menu as it is we was told they dont do beef burgers or sirloin steak anymore so that was two options out the equation.
We was going to order lassi 2 x mango and 1 sweet only to be told they haven’t got any sweet lassi today, so that was fine they comped the sweet lassi and gave us a extra complementary mango one instead, but the lassi was lumpy and tasted weird hardly any mango flavour and it wasn’t sweet atall.
Secondly as you can see from the pictures we was given a cremated chicken steak with charred garlic bread, come on guys who sent that out from the kitchen? Its very unacceptable to serve food of this standard to your customers, the chef should know better then to send food out which looks like that.
Biryani although tasty unfortunately it was stone cold so only managed two spoonfuls of it the side mash potato for other chicken steaks were cold, the portion size of the lasagna was tiny but it tasted nice.
There was another function on today which the staff attended to more then other tables ours included and although I know they were understaffed tonight the staff kept using the other function as a excuse for our mains being 30min late, also staff were not really attending our table or checking if our food was okay and also were not well informed as to what they did and didn’t have left in the kitchen.
All in all even tho this time wasn’t our most enjoyable experience, the owner and staff did comp and take items off the bill which we were not happy with, the owner and the owners brother were very apologetic and didnt have any quibbles comping or adjusting the bill they also offered us free ice cream or desserts to take home.
The service by the owner i cant fault very nice chap and was very sorry and did make up for the poor experience by comping items.
First time here and it was beautiful and classy looking on the inside.
Food was good- overdo it with the onions and peppers in their Chinese stir fry/chow meins. Dessert menu is currently getting an overhaul and what they had to offer was not great- tasted stale and just odd.
Service was okay, looked like they had a new member being trained tonight but it was very quiet albeit two large tables that were there for birthdays and we had to keep asking for things to be done as there were no waiters when needed.
Overall it was a 3 star rating from me and my friends and we don't know if we would come back again.

Lahori Gate is a MUST TRY restaurant. I recently visited the restaurant with my family after hearing praises about their food.
The establishment's beautiful decor and ambient lighting gave this restaurant a nice and calm tone.
Moving on the the food, the starters were delicious. The Kebabs were succulent and juicy. The lamb chops were tasty but the main starter I was hooked onto was the Fish, Mamma Mia! oh the Fish was absolutely delicious.
For the main course we ordered a variety of dishes. My two standout dishes were the chicken bhuna and the lamb on the bone. You could tell both dishes were cooked fresh, seasoned perfectly. The herbs and spices were amazing giving both dishes amazing and unique flavours. I cant knock the vegetarian dishes, the Dhaal made at this restaurant was smashing, an absolute must try.
This restaurant has a nice atmosphere, good food and good service. Hats off to the gentlemen who served us and my compliments to the chef.
The retaurant has parking and excellent decor inside. It's really a nice restaraunt however, the one staff member that is the waiter is not good at customer service - he is there just because he has to be - this should not be obvious. The music played is stupid and if they want to improve the ambience they should consider perhaps some background cafè tune or ibiza style saxophone music quietly playing - what they have is loud and weird. The food is all brought out at once which means everything has to be eaten quickly or eaten cooled down and this is unnecessary especially when a customer specifies that they want starters and then mains. The curry dish we had was extremely sweet and just looked re-heated from days ago. The grill on the other hand is nice and everything else we had in the starters are good. We shall not be returning but have provided some constructive feedback - if this is how the restaurant continues with customer service, they will lose custom unfortunately - much like they have now lost us. Please try harder with paying customers - they deserve a better experience - we felt like an inconveniance and won't be letting that happen again. Missed opportunity for repeat custom.

The fish masala is the best I have had, a generous portion, and my lamb bhuna was fantastic, accompanied with fresh thick chapattis.
Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.
I will be returning and highly recommend this restaurant.
