I walked in just to see if they could take me and it was not a problem! About a 15 minute wait, but was accompanied by good chat and a baseball game on the TV. Had a great haircut by a young lady and my beard trimmed. One of the best haircuts I have ever had! Spent ample of time on my hair and had a great attention to detail. Truly a great experience and a great price!
There was a long wait , but it was worth it. I got a really great haircut. The girl knew how to make everything perfectly even to a T. The owner is friendly, and it seems local. I will be coming back.
Great service, and a fun group of folks to hang out with, customers and staff alike. Karl's the first barber I've ever found who was willing to straight razor shave my head. It was nice after ten years of doing it myself to have it done by a pro. I'll be returning in the future.

I found this place 2 years ago as covid restrictions were being eased on barber shops. Karl is very friendly down to earth barber! Even after moving away from Richmond, I still come.here once a month to get my hair cut!
This place was exceptional. The proprietor is welcoming and friendly, eager, in fact, to give you a great haircut. He is a local guy so you will be comfortable talking about the neighborhood or current events. Reasonably priced for the market, The Master Barber can keep you entertained snipping your hair (and beard) and not clipping your wallet. I look forward to my next visit!
Karl is the best barber I have ever had. He is kind, consistent, and always takes his time to give you want you want. Most people have a hard time blending my hair, but Karl gets it done without any issues. For as long as I am in Richmond, Karl will be my guy!
