After trying out all Korean restaurants in New Malden, this is probably my favourite. Great variety of Korean dishes that are made so well and fast and friendly service. The price has gone up by a lot but I guess it’s because of the Food cost increase in general…
We came pretty early around 12 and were attended straight away. They give you some tab water if you decide not to order drinks. We had sweet & sour chicken as starter and than clear beef noodle soup and spicy tofu seafood stew. Both were amazing and super hot. They came with a side of rice. Our tummies were happy. ????
There was no queue for this restaurant at 1:30 pm Sunday so decided to pay a visit. Quite disappointing, not sure what parts of chicken was given. Weird shaped and all bones. Now I understand why we could walk straight in.
Went yesterday and wasn’t very packed, I had the 2. the seafood hotpot, it was pretty big, was £33. This was a spicy hotpot which had muscles, prawns, shrimp, tofu, octopus, kimchi, cilantro. I also got the 10. Mixed fried chicken (soy & spicy) platter which was £24.55 And we got the 1. buckweet noodles in cold soup which was £10.99? Everything was prepared around wait time 15mins but very tasty. The muscles were a bit fishy but everything was v good.
We ordered Beef Bulgogi, japchae and Yukgyejang. All foods were tasty and amazing!
Especially japchae is supposed to be a starter menu but its portion was quite big !
Restaurant was very clean and cozy feeling as well. ????????
All menus were ready super quick once we ordered. I heard Kangnam is also well-known for their Korean BBQ so will come back to try it out soon ????

Used to be my favourite, but extremely disappointed after our last visit. Will never return. First of all food quality is sad and super overpriced. The price uploaded here at Google are outdated. It's at least 40% higher now. So now a main dish is in range of £12-18. Starters are over £10 which is insane for the quality. On top of that they put 10% service charge so be ready to pay more.
Foods do not taste like they did before. Side dishes are also very poor, almost felt like insulted to be served those food. The staff never apologies when asked about the food quality (a friend of mine had the similar experience before)
Will never return. Avoid at all cost.
We came here for the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC). They only serve the KFC as a whole chicken. But luckily there were 4 of us so it wasn’t a problem. They even let us have two flavours ( spicy vs non spicy). The vegetable starters, pancakes were very delicious too.
The spicy beef soup was absolutely amazing ! Will definitely come back soon!
